Tolbert rushed five times for 19 yards, including a one-yard touchdown in the second quarter. He will vulture some touchdowns from LeSean McCoy, but Tolbert isn’t a fantasy option.

Nathan Peterman struggles in Bills’ third preseason game.
Peterman came in early for a concussed Tyrod Taylor, and he went 11/23 for just 93 yards against Baltimore’s first-team defense. The Ravens have an elite defense and Buffalo is lacking playmakers on offense, but it still wasn’t a promising performance from the rookie. Peterman should get the start next week against Detroit with the starters expected to rest.

DeShone Kizer has reportedly won the Browns’ starting quarterback job.
According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, Browns head coach Hue Jackson will officially name Kizer the starter today. Jackson is putting a lot of trust in the second-round pick, and only time will tell how it works out for him. Kizer struggled with accuracy the last two preseason games, but he’ll try to grow and improve this season. The official announcement should come later today.

Shane Vereen catches one pass in Giants’ third preseason game.
The pass, which went for no yards, was Vereen’s only target in the game. He’s likely done for the preseason, so he’ll be healthy for Week 1 against the Cowboys. Vereen might provide some PPR value this season, but it’s unlikely he becomes a reliable standard option.

Orleans Darkwa scores in Giants’ third preseason game.
Darkwa had seven carries for 21 yards, including a touchdown at the goal line. The great news for Darkwa is that he received a goal line carry with the first-team offense. He might not get all the goal line carries for the Giants, but he looks to be the preferred option there. He’s worth a selection at the end of fantasy drafts in deeper leagues.

Paul Perkins plays well in Giants’ third preseason game.
Perkins carried six times for 33 yards against the Jets, including a long of 15 yards. He should be done for the preseason, as the focus shifts to Week 1 against the Cowboys. It’s difficult to get very excited about Perkins’ fantasy value, but he is playing in a potentially explosive offense and is going in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts.

Wayne Gallman leads Giants in rushing in third preseason game.
Gallman had 12 carries for 43 yards and added an 11-yard reception. The rookie from Clemson has been impressive and has shown his all-around skill set, but it looks like he’s behind Paul Perkins, Shane Vereen, and Orleans Darkwa on the depth chart. He’s a highly recommended dynasty option, though.
