This appears to be a knee injury, so it’s something to keep an eye on. But keep in mind this is the first official practice of the week for the Packers, as the teams plays on Monday Night Football for Week 4.
10/1/20 - 05:04 PM ET
Davante Adams (hamstring) was officially limited in today’s practice.
This is a good sign for Adams’ chances of making a return after missing just one game, but the Packers are going to take a cautious approach with their star receiver, especially with the offense humming even without him last Sunday night.
10/1/20 - 05:03 PM ET
Jared Cook (groin) officially did not practice today.
Cook also missed yesterday’s practice, so there’s definite cause for concern regarding his Week 4 status. That said, Cook is a veteran player that might not need a ton of practice time to play on Sunday. The final Week 4 injury report will be out tomorrow.
10/1/20 - 04:35 PM ET
Michael Thomas (ankle) remains limited in practice.
Saints quarterback Drew Brees said yesterday that Thomas looks great, and it appears he’ll be back in the lineup after missing the past two games. The final Week 4 injury report will be out tomorrow with Thomas’ official game status.
10/1/20 - 04:34 PM ET
The Jets activated Jeff Smith off injured reserve.
New York’s receiving corps has been decimated by injuries, and Smith will help add more depth the group. Smith is not a recommended fantasy pickup in standard-sized leagues.
10/1/20 - 04:33 PM ET
The Jets released Mike White.
White is being released to make room for Joe Flacco on the active roster, but there’s probably a good chance the Jets bring White back on the practice squad soon.
10/1/20 - 04:32 PM ET
Joe Flacco will be active for tonight’s game.
Flacco will backup Sam Darnold tonight versus the Broncos, as the veteran quarterback is fully recovered from offseason neck surgery. The Jets are fully expected to remain patient with Darnold, but they have a strong backup quarterback option in the former Super Bowl MVP.
