Join now >Jack Doyle (ankle/knee) has been ruled out for Week 2.
Doyle has unfortunately dealt with a bunch of injuries throughout his career, and he’ll miss the second game of the season for a Colts team dealing with a number of injuries. The running backs underneath could be relied upon heavily by Philip Rivers against the Vikings.

DeVante Parker (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Week 2.
Parker reportedly looked good in today’s practice, and we think he’ll be ready to go Sunday against the Bills. But keep in mind that Miami has a short week coming up (a Thursday night game versus the Jaguars), so we’ll see if that factors into his status this weekend.

A.J. Brown (knee) is out for Week 2.
Brown could be set to miss multiple games with a bone bruise suffered in the opener, but fantasy owners can at least hope to have him back soon if he’s not placed on IR (which would keep him out at least three weeks). The Titans will rely heavily on Derrick Henry and the running game, but Corey Davis is now firmly in FLEX territory for a good matchup against the Jaguars, and Jonnu Smith’s role should continue to expand.

C.J. Anderson is retiring from the NFL.
Anderson appeared in two games last year with Detroit, but he hadn’t had a significant role since shining down the stretch with the Rams in 2018. In seven seasons, Anderson rushed for 3,497 yards and 22 touchdowns with a 108/900/5 line as a receiver, and he was obviously a big part of Denver’s Super Bowl 50 victory with 100 total yards and a score. Still just 29, Anderson is said to be getting into coaching, and we wish him the best of luck in his post-playing life.

Jamison Crowder (hamstring) is out for Week 2.
Adam Gase referred to Crowder as “probably our best player on offense the last two years,” so New York will be counting on Breshad Perriman, Chris Herndon, and Chris Hogan to boost the passing game—especially with Le’Veon Bell (hamstring) also out. Not even being a game-time call could make Crowder questionable again in Week 3, but not being placed on IR is at least a good sign. We think Perriman is a strong upside FLEX with Richard Sherman (calf) not in the 49ers’ lineup.

C.J. Uzomah is officially out for the year with a torn Achilles.
This was unfortunately the expectation when he went down last night, and Uzomah’s season ends eight receptions, 87 yards, and one touchdown in two games. Particularly with the offensive line struggling for Cincinnati, we should see Zac Taylor’s system continue to rely on tight ends, and 2019 second-round pick Drew Sample will get increased playing time. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Sample eventually carries reliable TE2 value.

C.J. Uzomah (Achilles) has been ruled out for the rest of tonight.
Uzomah suffered a non-contact injury on a first-down reception, and unfortunately it looks like it’ll be a season-ender for Cincinnati’s starting tight end. Before leaving tonight’s game Uzomah caught the first career touchdown pass by No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow, and his presence will be missed as a reliable target over the middle in Zac Taylor’s offense. We wish Uzomah luck on his recovery and rehab.
