James Washington | Free Agent WR

James Washington has been activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Washington has been cleared and can begin activities with his teammates during training camp. Practices will ramp-up soon, and Washington is looking to carve out a nice role in a deep Steelers receiving corps as he enters Year 3.

Josh Doctson | Free Agent WR

Josh Doctson has opted out of the 2020 season.

Doctson would have been competing for a roster spot on an open depth chart with the Jets, but the former first-round pick will now set his sights on 2021.

Jeremy Hill | Free Agent RB

The Raiders have released Jeremy Hill, according to Vic Tafur.

Hill had just recently signed with Las Vegas, but they have plenty of backs on the roster and are already moving on. It would be a surprise if Josh Jacobs didn’t push for 300+ touches this season.

Ronald Jones II | Free Agent RB

Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians calls Ronald Jones II the “main guy” in backfield.

The statement is especially notable with LeSean McCoy recently being signed, as Arians said everyone else will fight for a role (though he mentioned McCoy “easily” finding a “niche”). Jones II flashed big potential last season as he split work with Peyton Barber, and it sounds like he will get a great chance to lead the backfield all year if he can impress early. The former second-round pick is a solid value in the middle rounds as a borderline low-end RB2/FLEX option in a high-powered offense.

Kenny Golladay | Free Agent WR

Kenny Golladay has been activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Golladay will hopefully now have a full camp, and he is looking to pickup where he left off in 2019 with a 65/1,190/11 line in 16 games. The former third-round pick is currently being drafted as a midrange WR1.

8/5/20 - 11:50 AM ET

Albert Wilson | Free Agent WR

Albert Wilson is opting out of the 2020 season.

He is the second Miami receiver to opt out in as many days (joining Allen Hurns), so the team is certainly thin at the position behind DeVante Parker and Preston Williams. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see a trade made before Week 1, but for now, this news could provide an even bigger boost for Mike Gesicki’s upside in 2020. Also, Matt Breida could see more receiving work out of the backfield.

8/5/20 - 11:16 AM ET

Travis Benjamin | Free Agent WR

Travis Benjamin is opting out of the 2020 season, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Benjamin was signed to potentially operate as a situational deep threat in Kyle Shanahan’s offense, but he will look ahead to 2021 instead. We’ll see if any big-time names opt out over the next couple of days.
