Join now >The Buccaneers re-signed Jaydon Mickens.
Mickens was waived just over a week ago, but the Bucs are brining him back to compete for a spot at receiver and on special teams. Mickens’ biggest contributions for Tampa Bay would likely come as a returner this season.

The Dolphins signed Chester Rogers.
After losing both Allen Hurns and Albert Wilson to opt-outs, Miami has added a couple of receivers to the mix in the past couple of days. Rogers has the skillset to compete for a role in the slot for the Dolphins, but he’s not yet a highly recommended selection in fantasy drafts.

The Buccaneers activated Ke’Shawn Vaughn from reserve/COVID-19.
The third-round rookie running back can now join the backfield mix for Tampa Bay, but veteran LeSean McCoy is now also in the group as a potential primary third-down back. With a COVID-impacted offseason, Vaughn might be facing an uphill climb to make a big impact as a rookie, but he’s still someone to keep an eye on this summer.

The Lions released Travis Fulgham.
The 2019 sixth-round pick was promoted to the active roster for the Lions in December of last season, but Detroit is moving in another direction for now. Perhaps Fulgham will be brought back on the practice squad during the regular season.

Jarvis Landry (hip) has been activated from the active/PUP list.
This is obviously a good sign for his Week 1 status, but Landry still might be getting overvalued as a top-30 receiver who is being drafted ahead of guys like Michael Gallup and Brandin Cooks. The Browns are expected to be a run-first offense that will also lean on Odell Beckham Jr., Austin Hooper, David Njoku, and Kareem Hunt in the passing game.
8/8/20 - 04:36 PM ET
The Dolphins are signing Ricardo Louis, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Louis will fill the veteran void left by Allen Hurns and Albert Wilson at receiver, but the team will probably be hoping the young guys show enough this month to have confidence in. DeVante Parker and Preston Williams are currently the only recommended options on the depth chart.

The Vikings waived Tony Brooks-James.
Brooks-James will now look to find a new team in this COVID-impacted environment, but the practice squad could be where he lands for the 2020 season. For now, Brooks-James does not need to be held in normal-sized dynasty leagues.
