Join now >Derrick Henry signed his franchise tender, according to ESPN.
This is positive news, as it could be an indication that Henry and the Titans are in good standing despite the team using the franchise tag on the reigning league-leading rusher. Titans general manager Jon Robinson recently voiced optimism that the two sides would agree to a long-term deal at some point. Henry has until July 15 to sign a long-term contract or he’ll have to play the season on the $10.2-million franchise tag.

The Patriots are releasing Cody Kessler, according to Ian Rapoport.
The move leaves Jarrett Stidham and Brian Hoyer as the only quarterbacks left on New England’s roster, but the Patriots might be giving Kessler a chance to sign elsewhere knowing that they will draft another signal-caller (especially considering a potentially shortened offseason would mean fewer reps for everyone). Kessler will almost certainly find a new home to compete for a roster spot this summer.

The Jets re-signed David Fales, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Fales will look to compete for the backup quarterback job behind Sam Darnold this season, but he’s off the fantasy radar for now. Fales is familiar with Jets head coach Adam Gase from last season and from their time together with the Dolphins.

The Seahawks have released Ed Dickson, according to Ian Rapoport.
Dickson didn’t appear in a game last season due to a knee injury, and Seattle—who suddenly has a bolstered tight end room—will let the veteran land elsewhere. Turning 33 in the summer, Dickson likely won’t be a recommended fantasy option, but there should be a landing spot for him (perhaps in Washington with his former head coach Ron Rivera).

The Lions are signing Geronimo Allison.
Allison is heading to Detroit after spending the first four seasons of his career in Green Bay, but he will at best be the team’s No. 4 receiver behind Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones, and Danny Amendola. While the 26-year-old has flashed talent in the past, he may need a big summer to have a role for the Lions because of how strong this year’s draft class is at receiver.

The Chargers signed Darius Jennings.
Jennings spent the past three years with the Titans, but he’ll move to a potentially bigger role in Los Angeles with the Chargers. Look for Jennings to be a key contributor as a returner, and he could get more time on offense behind top two receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.

The Chiefs are re-signing Demarcus Robinson, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The wide receiver market has been slow this season because of the insane depth in this year’s draft class, so Robinson will re-join Kansas City. Robinson is a very good backup option in the Chiefs receiving corps, but he’d likely need an injury to contribute consistently to fantasy rosters in 2020.
