Join now >The Colts are signing Roosevelt Nix, according to ESPN’s Jordan Schultz.
Pittsburgh moved in another direction at fullback with Derek Watt, but Nix lands in a great spot with the Colts. Nix will help lead the way for Marlon Mack and company in 2020.

The Texans are acquiring Brandin Cooks, according to multiple reports.
Houston is reportedly sending their second-round pick in this year’s draft (No. 57 overall) to the Rams in exchange for Cooks and a 2022 fourth-round selection. While everyone instantly jumped on the Texans for trading away All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins, Bill O’Brien had a plan in mind to help replace his production, adding experienced receivers Randall Cobb and now Cooks this offseason. For Los Angeles, this is a nice value as they get another premium draft pick in a very deep receiver class while clearing the long-term contract of Cooks, who had just received a big extension from the Rams last year. Cooks is somehow entering his seventh year in the NFL, but he’s still just 26 years old. It’s interesting that Cooks has jumped around the league so much, as this will be his fourth team; but by all accounts he’s a hard working player that won’t make noise if the ball doesn’t come his way.

The Chiefs are signing DeAndre Washington, according to Yahoo Sports’ Terez Paylor.
Kansas City has been making a notable number of moves on offense in recent days, and their latest add is a player that’s been in the division in former Raiders running back DeAndre Washington. The Texas Tech product will join former college teammate Patrick Mahomes and will look to win a role in the Chiefs backfield in 2020. Washington is an interesting player to keep an eye on this summer.

The Chiefs re-signed Anthony Sherman.
Kansas City continues their effort to keep much of their Super Bowl roster in tact heading into 2020, and Sherman will help pave the way for Damien Williams and company—while also contributing some as a receiver—this season.

The Chiefs are signing Ricky Seals-Jones, according to Yahoo Sports’ Terez Paylor.
Seals-Jones emerged with a nice stretch for the Browns last season, scoring four touchdowns on 14 receptions while averaging 16.4 yards per reception. Seals-Jones is still just 25 years old and will look to carve out a nice role behind star tight end Travis Kelce this year.

The Chiefs and Sammy Watkins have agreed to a new contract, according to Yahoo Sports’ Terez Paylor.
It would have been messed up if Kansas City released Watkins this late after the start of free agency, so this was fully expected. Paylor says Watkins will now have a base salary of $9 million this season, with incentives that can push the deal up to $16 million; this reportedly creates $5 million in cap space for the Chiefs this year. Watkins has dealt with some injuries throughout his career, but, as he showed in the Super Bowl, he remains a dynamic receiver at soon-to-be 27 years old.

The Buccaneers are re-signing Blaine Gabbert, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Bucs head coach Bruce Arians is a fan of Gabbert, and the two will continue working together as the former first-round pick becomes Tom Brady’s backup quarterback. Obviously, the hope is that Brady will stay fully healthy in 2020, but Gabbert would be in a good situation if he’s forced to take the field.
