Join now >Multiple reports: An arrest warrant has been issued for Antonio Brown.
Brown is facing felony charges of burglary and battery after allegedly throwing a rock at a moving truck driver, and there is no bond. AB is clearly far down the wrong path, and hopefully his situation doesn’t get much uglier than it already has.

Eli Manning is retiring from the NFL after 16 seasons, according to ESPN.
This news was fully expected, but it’s still a huge development for the longtime Giants quarterback and member of the NFL’s prestigious Manning family. According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano and Jordan Raanan, Manning will hold a press conference on Friday to announce his retirement. Eli’s career ends with 57,023 passing yards, 366 passing touchdowns, and 244 interceptions, ranking seventh in league history in passing yards and passing touchdowns. But Manning really shined in the postseason, with two Super Bowl titles and two Super Bowl MVPs (XLII and XLVI), including a win over the 18-0 Patriots to conclude the 2007 season. He also won the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award in 2016. Additionally, he never missed a start because of an injury in his career. The normally even-keeled Manning will likely get pretty emotional during his news conference as he says goodbye to the game he loves. We’ll see what happens, but Manning should have a good shot to make the Hall of Fame given his postseason success.

Antonio Brown is being investigated for potential battery.
ESPN’s Cameron Wolfe reports that police are investigating Brown “for possible battery at his home today,” adding that “there is still an active scene at Brown’s home as police determine if battery charges will be brought against him.” All the facts need to emerge from this situation, but AB is clearly having some serious off-field issues right now and appears to need help. The talent is undeniable, so perhaps things can change at some point; but it seems unlikely that Brown will ever play in the NFL again.

Julian Edelman underwent a shoulder procedure.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter was told the procedure will involve “not a lengthy rehab” and that the veteran receiver is expected to be ready for the start of offseason training. Edelman was banged up for much of 2019, but he should be at full strength all offseason and into the summer leading up to next season. This procedure and his jumping on a car a couple of weeks ago probably won’t affect Edelman too much heading into the offseason.

Odell Beckham Jr. underwent core muscle surgery.
Beckham played through the core issue all season, and the team unsurprisingly says a “full recovery” is expected. OBJ might take things slow (and he seems unlikely to participate in all of offseason training, especially the voluntary portion), but we would think he’ll be 100% for the start of training camp at the latest.

Tevin Coleman has a dislocated shoulder.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan says the team is still awaiting the MRI results on Coleman’s shoulder but that the dynamic running back should have a chance to play in the Super Bowl. Coleman is certainly going to try very hard to play on February 2, but his status will be closely monitored over the next couple of weeks.

Tevin Coleman leaves NFC title game with apparent wrist injury.
The 49ers are officially calling it an elbow injury for Coleman, but he’s holding his wrist and is obviously in very serious pain. Coleman is not one to be dramatic about an injury, so this looks like something serious that will keep him out for the rest of the evening. He’s currently being carted to the locker room. Before leaving, Coleman had six carries for 22 yards. San Francisco is extremely deep at running back, but it would be a huge loss if Coleman is unable to play in a potential Super Bowl appearance.
