Join now >The Raiders signed Jalen Richard to a new contract, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Richard was set to become a free agent this offseason, but the Raiders are securing the versatile receiving back as they make the move from Oakland to Las Vegas. Josh Jacobs might ultimately take more work on third downs in his second NFL season, but Richard should remain a solid contributor in Jon Gruden’s offense.

The Dolphins re-signed Ricardo Louis, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Louis has unfortunately dealt with season-ending injuries in the past two seasons, but the Dolphins liked what they saw from him in their building in 2019 and want him around for 2020. Louis is not a must-hold in dynasty leagues right now, but he’ll look to carve out a role in Miami’s offense moving forward.

The Titans signed Cole Herdman.
Herdman was undrafted out of Purdue last year, and he spent time on the practice squads of the Ravens and Lions in 2019. The 24-year-old tight end will look to earn a roster spot with the Titans this summer.

The Panthers have officially released Greg Olsen.
Olsen is now an unrestricted free agent and can sign with any team, which is somewhat unusual for a player like him at this time of year. The veteran tight end might ultimately take his time while evaluating his options, but we expect that he will sign before the start of the new league year and free agency next month.

LeSean McCoy is officially inactive for Super Bowl LIV.
This was the expectation, as the Chiefs are set with Damien Williams at running back with Darwin Thompson backing him up. McCoy has not been playing late in the season or during Kansas City’s Super Bowl run, but this has to hurt for the veteran running back. McCoy seems very unlikely to return to the Chiefs in 2020.

Vernon Davis has retired from the NFL.
On a pre-game skit with Rob Gronkowski ahead of Super Bowl LIV on FOX, Davis announced that he was retired. Davis’ excellent 14-year career ends with 583 receptions for 7,562 yards and 63 touchdowns. The former first-round pick had exceptional speed and athleticism with great big-play ability at the tight end position, but he was also a very good blocker. Davis was named to two Pro Bowls in his career, which he spent with the 49ers, Broncos, and Redskins, and he was a member of the Super Bowl 50 team with Denver. We wish Davis luck on his retirement.

Tevin Coleman (shoulder) will play in Super Bowl LIV.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan says Coleman is “good to go” for Sunday against the Chiefs, which is awesome to hear after his status looked uncertain following a bad-looking dislocated shoulder suffered during the NFC Championship. Coleman is a dynamic and versatile weapon with Super Bowl experience during his time with the Falcons, so he’ll be a big boost as the Niners look to win a title.
