Join now >Chris Herndon will miss an extended period of time with fractured ribs.
Herndon saw his first action of the season yesterday, but this new injury will cost him multiple games. While the talent is certainly there for the second-year tight end, injuries have completely derailed his season, and he no longer needs to be rostered in redraft leagues. Ryan Griffin will step back in as the starter for New York, but he’s nothing more than a desperation TE2 option; Jamison Crowder may be the biggest beneficiary from a fantasy perspective.

Amari Cooper (knee) is officially active for Sunday night.
Cooper is dealing with a bruised knee, and he was fully expected to be ready to face the Vikings for tonight’s primetime matchup. The star receiver is a strong WR1 option despite the matchup Xavier Rhodes and company.

The Redskins have named Dwayne Haskins their starting quarterback for the remainder of the season.
Interim head coach Bill Callahan announced the news when talking to the media, so the No. 15 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft will remain under center for the final seven games of the season as he looks to build momentum into next year. Washington will remain a run-first team centered around Adrian Peterson and Derrius Guice, but perhaps they are going to open things up a bit for Haskins in good matchups—including this weekend against the Jets. That said, the Redskins will remain one of the offenses to attack for those streaming D/ST options.
11/11/19 - 02:00 PM ET
Devonta Freeman (foot) has been ruled out for the rest of today’s game.
Hopefully this injury isn’t too serious that it keeps Freeman out for an extended period of time, but Freeman’s afternoon is done. Before leaving, Freeman had ten carries for 38 yards along with three receptions for ten yards. Brian Hill has been handling most of the backfield work during Freeman’s absence.
11/10/19 - 03:22 PM ET
James Conner (shoulder) is expected to play on Thursday night.
The Steelers are not holding a practice today one day after a game, but Conner would have likely been a full participant had Pittsburgh practiced, indicating he’ll be ready to go for this week against the Browns. We’ll let you know if anything changes, but Conner figures to be active and a big part of the gameplan in a big AFC North matchup for Week 11.
11/11/19 - 12:16 PM ET
JuJu Smith-Schuster (foot) is officially active for Week 10.
Smith-Schuster was added to the injury report Friday, but he’s officially good to go against the Rams. JuJu will be matched up with All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey for most of the afternoon, but his big-play ability keeps him on the FLEX radar, especially with six teams on a bye.
11/10/19 - 02:55 PM ET
Austin Hooper is expected to miss time with a knee injury, according to Ian Rapoport.
Hooper was limping pretty badly when he went down on Sunday, but an MRI will determine the extent of the injury, and it not being deemed season-ending already is likely a good sign. Still, the resurgent Falcons may be without both Hooper and Devonta Freeman (foot) against the Panthers in Week 11, and fantasy owners will have to come up with alternatives at tight end.
