Join now >Josh Allen remains in the concussion protocol, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Allen was able to get some work in this week and sit in on team meetings, but his status looks very much in doubt if he’s not cleared before the Bills leave for Tennessee. If Allen can’t go, it’ll be Matt Barkley under center for Buffalo in what projects to be another defensive battle.

Marlon Mack (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.
Mack didn’t practice until Friday before suiting up last week, so hopefully he will be good to go for a big Sunday night matchup against the Chiefs. If not, Jordan Wilkins would be a potential RB2 option against a defense allowing 5.9 yards per carry through four weeks.
10/2/19 - 03:44 PM ET
Saquon Barkley (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 5.
Barkley has made an impressive recovery from his high-ankle sprain, but he needs at least one more week before returning to game action. While the matchup won’t be easy this weekend, Wayne Gallman can be played as a volume-based low-end RB2/FLEX option against the Vikings. Barkley owners will now look towards Week 6—a Thursday Night Football game in New England—but he’s probably not a lock to suit up in a tough spot.
10/4/19 - 12:29 PM ET
Vance McDonald (shoulder) did not practice today.
McDonald missed Week 4 after being doubtful and didn’t seem particularly close to playing, so fantasy owners probably shouldn’t get their hopes up about Sunday’s matchup against the Ravens. The veteran likely needs at least limited participation on Thursday or Friday to have a shot at suiting up.

Jarvis Landry has cleared the concussion protocol.
This is a great sign considering the Browns play on Monday night, as fantasy owners can safely insert him into lineups. That said, it would probably be unwise to expect him to suddenly have reliable WR2 value despite eight receptions for 167 yards last week against Baltimore. Consider Landry a low-ceiling FLEX option.
10/4/19 - 10:57 AM ET
Devin Singletary (hamstring) was officially limited in practice.
It’s a positive that Singletary is out there for the first practice of the week for the Bills, but the team isn’t going to rush the rookie running back back, especially with the way Frank Gore is running, Hopefully Singletary can participate in practice fully tomorrow or Friday.
10/2/19 - 03:15 PM ET
Tyrell Williams (foot) is listed as questionable for Week 5.
Fortunately, the Raiders play in the early window this week, so fantasy owners that want to roll with him in a difficult matchup against the Bears will have their answer on his status by Sunday morning. The veteran is the only receiver in the league to score in each of his first four games, but a tough matchup at less than 100% makes him a risky FLEX play.
