Join now >The Texans waived Jerell Adams.
Adams spent the last two years with the Giants before joining the Texans this year. The former sixth-round pick should draw interest around the league soon.

Christian Kirk (ankle) is officially not practicing.
Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury said yesterday that Kirk would be limited in yesterday’s practice, but it turns out he did not practice and again missed practice today. Arizona said again today that Kirk is unlikely to play this week, and we expect he’ll be ruled out or listed as doubtful on the final Week 5 injury report when it’s released tomorrow.

The Patriots released Cameron Meredith.
Unfortunately, Meredith has been dealing with his knee issue and has remained on the PUP list with New England. Hopefully the former Bear can get back to 100% and contribute to a team soon. Meredith just turned 27 last month.

Tyreek Hill (shoulder) officially remains limited in practice.
Expect Hill to remain limited again in tomorrow’s practice, and things would get really interesting if he’s able to get a questionable tag ahead of Sunday night’s game. We’d say he’s likely to sit again this week, but perhaps he’ll surprise and make a strong push to face the Colts.

The Giants released T.J. Jones.
Jones caught three passes for 38 yards and a touchdown against the Bills in Week 2, but he didn’t have any receptions in the last two games. Jones is just 27 and should draw interest from other teams—perhaps his former Lions squad will be interested in bringing him back.

The Texans signed Jerell Adams to the practice squad.
Adams was waived by Houston a couple of days ago, but it’s a good sign that they wanted to bring him back. He’ll look to work on the practice squad and eventually get another shot on the active roster.
10/3/19 - 05:13 PM ET
The Giants released Bennie Fowler.
With Golden Tate returning from his four-game suspension, the Giants are moving on from Fowler. The veteran receiver caught 12 passes for 99 yards in four games with the team this season, and he should draw interest around the league.
