Join now >Keke Coutee (ankle) was officially a full participant in today’s practice.
Coutee was close to playing on Monday night against the Saints in Week 1, but he’ll be ready to go for the second game of the season when Houston faces Jacksonville. While Coutee was talked up by Deshaun Watson as someone the team needs to get the ball to, he’s not a recommended play in Week 2. Coutee is worth a look as an end-of-bench pickup, though.

Dontrell Hilliard (concussion) has officially been ruled out for Week 2.
Hilliard is still dealing with the concussion from last Sunday, and he’s been ruled out ahead of Monday night’s game against the Jets. This should mean more work for Nick Chubb, who was surprisingly out for a deep red-zone touch (a touchdown by Hilliard) last week. Hopefully Hilliard is feeling better soon and can play in Week 3 versus the Rams.

Tom Brady torches the Steelers on Sunday night.
New England’s running game couldn’t get much going in a convincing 33-3 win after the franchise hung its sixth Super Bowl banner, but the passing attack was firing on all cylinders to open the season. Brady was 24/36 for 341 yards and three touchdowns, with one two Josh Gordon and two to Phillip Dorsett. This performance obviously isn’t out of the norm for Brady, especially versus a Steelers team he’s dominated in his career; but it’s still noteworthy that the 42-year-old still looks as good as ever and will be operating an offense that has no issue spreading things out and throwing the ball around. And now, the Pats add All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown to the mix, making the offense seem almost unfair—and likely leading to more consistent statistical performances from the passing attack. Brady went in the late rounds or undrafted in most fantasy leagues, but he might be the top fantasy quarterback to own behind Patrick Mahomes moving forward.

Marqise Lee (knee) will not play against the Texans.
Lee saw limited action in the opener, but he’s not making the trip to Houston for Week 2. The Jaguars have Dede Westbrook, Chris Conley, and D.J. Chark locked in as their top three receivers.

Tyler Lockett (back) was officially limited in today’s practice.
Lockett missed yesterday’s practice, so this is a step in the right direction. The dynamic receiver is expected to be good to go for Sunday against the Steelers, but check back in tomorrow for his official Week 2 status.

The Chiefs have elevated Byron Pringle to the 53-man roster.
Pringle was on Kansas City’s practice squad after he was recently waived, but the Kansas State product is quickly back on active roster. Pringle is not on the fantasy radar in redraft leagues at the moment.

Evan Engram plays well in Giants’ Week 1 loss.
Engram caught 11 passes for 116 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys, basically operating as a de facto No. 1 receiver for Eli Manning. The score was on a play-action pass at the goal line to open the scoring in the game, and the third-year tight end was reliable throughout the game. The former first-round pick clearly has the potential to ascend near the elite TE1 tier in 2019.
