Join now >Brandon Bolden (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for Week 2.
Bolden is a special teams ace for New England, so his loss is a notable one for them in real life. From a fantasy perspective, this could lead to third-round rookie Damien Harris being active on Sunday after he was not active in Week 1.

Jordan Reed (concussion) remains limited in practice.
Reed is still in concussion protocol, but there’s definite optimism that he’ll get cleared in time for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. It’d be ideal if Reed can get cleared ahead of the final Week 2 injury report being released on Friday.

Cedrick Wilson was promoted to the Cowboys active roster.
Wilson was released ahead of 53-man roster cuts this year, but he was added to the team’s practice squad and is now back on the active roster for Dallas. The second-year receiver is not on the fantasy radar for Week 2.

Dak Prescott lights up the Giants in Cowboys’ Week 1 win.
Prescott was 25/34 for 405 yards and four touchdowns—posting a perfect passer rating of 158.3—in Dallas’ dominant 35-17 victory. The Giants blew a number of coverages in the game, but Prescott still played exceptionally well, putting his passes on point all game, hitting eight different receivers including four different players for touchdowns. Dak mostly attacked the Giants down the intermediate and deep parts of the field, and his passes were very accurate, giving his receivers opportunities to run in stride after the catch or come up with deep balls. It won’t be this easy every week, but Prescott’s confidence appears to be extremely high, and he’ll next face a Redskins team that also blew some coverages against the Eagles in their Week 1 game. The Cowboys might want to get a contract done with Prescott soon before his asking price gets out of hand.

UPDATE: Melvin Gordon tweets about his potential return.
A couple of hours after ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that Gordon will return sometime this season, still wants to play for the Chargers, and that he’s been told this is “not a Le’Veon Bell situation”, Gordon is apparently responding to the report, tweeting: “Stop listening to sources you don’t hear it quoted by me !!! It ain’t me”. Based on precedent, Gordon won’t be able to hit free agency if he doesn’t report by Week 9, so we would think he’s going to show up at some point this year. However, perhaps Gordon and his agent believe they can somehow win a fight over his free agency rights this offseason even if he doesn’t show up and play in 2019. Perhaps Gordon also means he’ll be returning sooner than midseason, but we doubt it. We still expect the star running back will report to the Chargers are some point this year, but it might not be a lock.

Greg Olsen (back) is officially active for tonight’s game.
This was fully expected, and now it’s official. Olsen might not be quite at 100%, but any limitations probably won’t be too noticeable tonight against the Buccaneers. Consider Olsen a backend TE1 option for Week 2.

Trey Burton (groin) officially remains limited in practice.
We’ll see what happens, but this isn’t likely to change tomorrow. Expect Burton to be given a questionable tag while being considered a gametime call when the final Week 2 injury report is released.
