Join now >Sam Darnold will miss Week 2 with mono.
Jets head coach Adam Gase says Darnold could miss several weeks with the ailment. Darnold was said to be sick yesterday, but the thought was that it was just a temporary thing that didn’t put him in danger for Monday night against the Browns. Trevor Siemian will now step in as the starting quarterback for the Jets, and this is a major blow to the team in real life along with a likely negative impact on the fantasy relevant players for New York, like Le’Veon Bell and Robby Anderson. There’s the chance Bell is just fed the ball and performs anyway, but he should probably be downgraded slightly for now. Hopefully Darnold is feeling better and can get back on the field soon.

A.J. Brown hits 100 yards in NFL debut.
Brown needed just three receptions to gain 100 yards against the Browns, and the second-round rookie’s highlight was a 47-yard reception on highly touted cornerback Denzel Ward. The Ole Miss product also showed his major physicality after the catch, and his pro-ready game is immediately translating to the next level. Brown’s talent makes him worth exploring as a pickup if he’s available on the waiver wire, but keep in mind that the Titans are a run-based offense with a number of weapons to get the ball to.

Tyler Kroft (foot) is officially listed as questionable for Week 2.
Kroft was listed as doubtful last week, so he’s at least making progress. From a fantasy perspective, Kroft being active might be a slight boost for Josh Allen more than anything.

Greg Olsen (back) is officially listed as questionable for tomorrow night.
Olsen did practice fully today, so he’s expected to be out there against the Buccaneers to kickoff Week 2. However, be sure to check back tomorrow evening to ensure Olsen is active if you’re planning to put him into your lineup.

Mike Williams (knee) officially did not practice today.
This was expected after Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn said he was “concerned” about Williams’ knee. We’ll track Williams’ status the next couple of days, but perhaps word will come out on the exact nature of his injury soon.

Derrick Henry totals 159 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1.
Henry carried 19 times for 84 yards and a touchdown along with one reception for 75 yards and a touchdown in the Titans’ rout of the Browns. Henry’s touchdown was on a goal line carry, and he got better as the game went on. His receiving score was on a misdirection screen pass where he went untouched running up the sideline and hitting over 20 MPH in speed. Dion Lewis received only three carries in the game, and it looks like Tennessee will feature Henry in 2019, which was our expectation coming into the season. We’d like to see Henry get more involved as a receiver, but the screen going to him indicates the Titans do want to get the ball in his hands as more than just a runner. Ignore the noise from people that continue to ignore that Henry is a beast of a player and keep him locked into fantasy lineups for Week 2 versus the Colts.

The Broncos are signing River Cracraft, according to Ian Rapoport.
He is replacing Tim Patrick, who broke his hand. Cracraft was with Denver last season and caught one pass for 44 yards, but he’s not currently on the fantasy radar.
