Rapoport tweets that Henry’s injury “should not be a big deal.” But it’s still slightly concerning that there isn’t a timetable for Henry’s return. At least it sounds like Henry’s Week 1 status isn’t in any doubt, and we’ll see if we get more information on the exact extent of the injury in the coming days. It’d be good to see Henry out there by the second or third preseason game, but appearing in the first week of the preseason might be a stretch.

Michael Thomas is holding out of training camp, according to NFL Network.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo say Thomas is staying away until he gets a new contract from the Saints. The fourth-year receiver is reportedly seeking over $20 million, so it’s understandable that New Orleans hasn’t signed him to a long-term extension yet. During Thomas’ absence, other receivers will have an opportunity to step up and get important reps with Drew Brees throughout camp. Thomas seems like the type that might stay away into the regular season if he doesn’t get the money he believes he deserves, so early drafters should keep in mind that there’s probably a chance Thomas misses time to start this season.

The Jets are waiving De’Angelo Henderson, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Henderson spent last season with the Jets after spending 2017 with the Broncos as a sixth-round pick, but he hasn’t gotten many opportunities on game day (nine carries through two seasons). The Costal Carolina product should get another opportunity soon as he looks to earn a roster spot for 2019.

Alfred Morris is re-signing with the Cowboys.
Morris played very well for the Cowboys a couple of seasons ago, rushing for 547 yards on 115 carries while helping fill in during the Ezekiel Elliott suspension. Now, he’s back while Elliott is holding out for a new contract. Dallas likely sees the veteran running back as a capable starting option in the event of Zeke’s holdout lasting into the regular season, and Morris should probably be considered the top handcuff option for now despite the presence of fourth-round pick Tony Pollard.

The hope is that A.J. Green misses four weeks with a sprained ankle.
According to Geoff Hobson of the Bengals’ official website, “Green apparently underwent an MRI Sunday morning” but there hasn’t been any word on the test results yet. Hobson adds: “The hope is there is no more damage to a sprained left ankle with the thinking he’d miss four weeks after he came down on the outside of his foot when a contesting a pass.” The ankle sprain was showed on an X-Ray Green had after yesterday’s injury, and now we just have to hope that the MRI doesn’t show any additional damage. Green would almost certainly be ready to go for Week 1 if it’s an ankle sprain with a projected four-week recovery.

The Bills have removed Frank Gore from the NFI list.
General manager Brandon Beane says the veteran back will practice today, which—even with his experience—is important in what looks like a four-way backfield competition. Gore might actually have the case to be the top runner selected for fantasy owners this summer because of his reliability and durability.

Jonnu Smith (knee) is on the PUP list to start training camp.
Smith’s status for the start of training camp was up in the air, so this isn’t a surprise. Coming off a knee injury suffered in December, Smith didn’t practice all offseason. Meanwhile, Titans’ starting tight end Delanie Walker is not on the PUP list to start camp.
