Join now >Jamison Crowder has been medically cleared and is expected to practice tomorrow.
Crowder left practice yesterday and got an MRI on his foot, so this is great news for New York’s new slot receiver, who is hoping to quickly form a connection with quarterback Sam Darnold. The Jets will likely rely on Crowder more early in the season while tight end Chris Herndon serves a four-game suspension.

There is no timetable for Derrick Henry’s return from a lower-leg injury.
Titans head coach Mike Vrabel was asked about Henry’s timetable, and all he said was that it’s a “lower leg” issue and did not give a return date. Henry was initially thought to be day-to-day, so this obviously isn’t a good sign with the fourth-year runner set to be the focal point of the Titans offense in 2019. Hopefully Vrabel just didn’t want to share information about Henry’s status, but we should probably consider him week-to-week for now.

Julio Jones says he might go for 3,000 yards this season.
Jones told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, “I’m not ever going to lie to you, I’m going crazy this year. I’m going crazy. I’ve been doing everything that I need to do. I’m taking care of my body. Physically and mentally, I’ll be ready to go. The All-Pro receiver was then asked if 2,000 yards was a possibility this season (no receiver in league history has accomplished the feat), and he said he’s not a guy that makes predictions, but he might “mess around and go three (thousand yards)” this year. Despite being one of the greatest players of all-time at his position, Jones has shown over the years he’s a team-first player that doesn’t care if he goes for 20 yards or 200 yards in a game if his team wins, and this is the closest he’ll get to showing some selfishness when talking about an individual goal. However, this just shows Jones’ confidence more than anything entering 2019. Julio is currently taking things slow while he deals with a foot issue, but he’s expected to be cut loose and be fully participating in practice within a couple of weeks. Jones is in the discussion to be the top wide receiver drafted in fantasy leagues this summer.

Delanie Walker is not on the PUP list to start training camp.
This is great news as Walker returns from his bad ankle injury suffered in Week 1 of last season. The veteran tight end will likely be held back a bit throughout camp, but his Week 1 status for this season isn’t in any doubt right now.

Will Dissly (knee) says it’s “absolutely” possible he plays in Week 1.
Dissly has participated in the start of Seahawks training camp on a limited basis, which is a great sign about ten months removed from last season’s patellar tear. The second-year tight end has yet to participate in team drills, but it’s still good to see he’s making progress and feels confident in his chances to play in the season opener against the Bengals. It’s not necessary for him to play in Week 1, but everyone would feel really good about his status if he’s able to get out there for presason action.

The Chargers waived/injured Dylan Cantrell.
The 2018 sixth-round pick will now hit waivers, but he can revert to the injured reserve of the Chargers if no other team claims him. An injury this early in camp is unfortunate for the second-year receiver, but hopefully he’s able to heal up and get back into action somewhere soon.

Keith Smith (knee) is out a few weeks, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says Oakland may sign another running back while Smith recovers, but the Raiders to have undrafted rookie Alec Ingold in the mix at the position. Smith’s recover could be a storyline on HBO’s Hard Knocks, which starts on August 6.
