The Raiders waived Saeed Blacknall.

Blacknall was undrafted last year, but the former Penn State receiver worked his way up to the 53-man roster in November. He should certainly draw interest elsewhere as he looks to compete for a role with a team this summer.

The Lions are releasing Theo Riddick, according to Ian Rapoport.

There were rumors of this potentially happening, but since it’s coming in July, the receiving back will at least have plenty of time to find a new home. Tampa Bay immediately comes to mind as an option, but as for Detroit’s backfield, this is another boost to Kerryon Johnson as a strong RB2 option.

The Raiders signed De’Mornay Pierson-El.

Pierson-El signed with Oakland earlier this offseason but was cut a few weeks later, but now the former AAF receiver is back in the mix as the Raiders get ready to start training camp. Pierson-El will almost certainly need to carve out a role on special teams to make the 53-man roster.

The Vikings placed Brandon Zylstra on the PUP list.

It’s unclear what Zylstra is dealing with, but he can be taken off the PUP list at any time. Hopefully he’s available to practice soon, as he’s fighting for a roster spot with the Vikings.

Phillip Lindsay (wrist) received the first team rep of training camp, according to NFL Network’s James Palmer.

It was unclear how healthy Lindsay would be coming off wrist surgery, so this is an excellent sign, especially considering Royce Freeman soaked up first-team reps in OTAs and seemed to be gaining an upper hand in what could be an open competition. This could mean nothing at all by the regular season, though, as the Broncos should have a relatively even backfield split between the two second-year runners. Right now, both Lindsay and Freeman should probably be drafted as very good FLEX options.

DeAndre Hopkins was officially taken off the PUP list.

It was a short stay for Hopkins on the PUP list, and he should be at full strength now. The All-Pro offers one of the highest floors among early picks in 2019 fantasy drafts.

The Broncos have signed Steven Dunbar Jr.

Dunbar appeared in one game with the 49ers last season, but was mostly on the practice squad. He will now get a chance in Denver following the retirement of Aaron Burbridge, though the 23-year-old probably faces long roster odds behind Courtland Sutton, Emmanuel Sanders, DaeSean Hamilton, and Tim Patrick.
