Join now >The Cowboys have placed Noah Brown (knee) on the PUP list.
Brown is expected to be ready for the regular season, but he won’t be anything higher than the No. 4 receiver behind Amari Cooper, Randall Cobb, and Michael Gallup. We’ll see if the Ohio State product—who caught five passes for 54 yards last year—can get on the field soon.

Jim Wyatt of the Titans’ official website isn’t sure Jonnu Smith (knee) will be ready for Week 1.
Wyatt writes that he believes Delanie Walker (leg) will be ready for the start of the season, but adds: “At this point, I can’t speak as confidently about Jonnu. He hasn’t practiced all offseason after last year’s injury, and coach Vrabel hasn’t provided any insight on his condition.” Smith reportedly suffered an MCL injury early last December, so it’s a bit of a surprise that his season-opener status is in doubt. Hopefully Smith will get on the field at some point early during training camp, which would help put concerns about his injury to rest.

Derrius Guice (knee/hamstring) says he was a “full participant” in Day 1 of training camp.
However, Guice did say the actual game don’t start for another month and wouldn’t say if he’d be ready to go, so he’s probably not quite at 100% yet. A report emerged that Guice was dealing with a hamstring issue, which might not have been fully accurate with him fully participating at the start of camp. Overall, it’d be a great sign if Guice is able to participate in preseason games, and his health coming off last year’s ACL tear will continue to be monitored throughout the summer.

Alex Collins suffered a broken leg, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says Collins recently had surgery to repair his broken leg, and now he’ll have to wait to sign with a team despite training camp being just days away. Collins is also dealing with his offseason arrest on drug and gun charges that led to him being waived by the Ravens. Right now, Collins isn’t really on the fantasy radar despite being a year removed from being Baltimore’s starting running back. Collins isn’t likely to play in 2019.

Kalen Ballage has a “real chance” to win the starting job in Miami, according to ESPN’s Cameron Wolfe.
Ballage has taken the initial first-team snap ahead of Kenyan Drake in back-to-back practices, and head coach Brian Flores said that he’s done a “great job” this offseason. We still have well over a month to go before the regular season, but this backfield is looking like it could be a split that favors Ballage as the preferred early-down and goal-line option that also has the athleticism to make plays in the passing game. The second-year back is sure to see his ADP skyrocket in the coming weeks, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he is ranked as a top-30 option at the position come late August.

Martavis Bryant has officially applied to the NFL for reinstatement.
This was basically just a formality, but ESPN’s Dan Graziano says Bryant has been working with the NFL and NFLPA to address mental health issues, which is good to hear. It sounds like Bryant wanted to get things in order before applying for reinstatement, so hopefully he’s able to get reinstated quickly as he looks to earn a role in training camp with a team. Bryant doesn’t need to be owned in dynasty leagues.

Sterling Shepard has a fractured thumb.
The Giants say Shepard will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis. This is obviously unideal as the Giants are set to move forward with Shepard as their No. 1 receiver after handing him a new contract, but the good news is Shepard’s Week 1 status shouldn’t be in doubt. This could knock down his ADP slightly, making him a better value in fantasy drafts.
