Join now >The Vikings placed David Morgan on the PUP list.
Morgan is coming off arthroscopic knee surgery and was expected to be ready for the start of training camp, but he can be taken off the PUP list at any time and should be back on the field soon. Morgan is a much better real-life contributor for Minnesota than fantasy asset.

Jake Butt (knee) is expected to practice soon.
Broncos head coach Vic Fangio says that Butt will be eased back into practice as the team gets set to begin training camp. Butt tore his ACL last September and was expected to be ready for the start of training camp, but it’s not a huge deal that he won’t be full-go for the start. Expect Butt to get on the field soon and compete for a role in Denver’s offense, but the former Michigan Wolverine is not really on the redraft radar right now.

Niles Paul is signing with the 49ers, according to Mike Garafolo.
Paul had been on the market after spending one season in Jacksonville, and San Francisco is giving him his next shot with Garrett Celek on the PUP list. Turning 30 next month, Paul is unlikely to have fantasy value even if he makes the team.

Emmanuel Sanders (Achilles) will not start training camp on the PUP list.
According to NFL Network’s James Palmer, the veteran will be “worked back in slowly,” but this is obviously a tremendous sign for his 2019 outlook, as Sanders should have an excellent chance to be ready for Week 1. Second-year receiver Courtland Sutton is expected to be the team’s No. 1 option in the passing game this season, but Sanders is coming off a 71/868/4 line and could defy expectations in 2019.

DaeSean Hamilton is dealing with a hamstring injury.
This helps explain why Denver signed receiver Nick Williams this morning. NFL Network’s James Palmer says the team is “optimistic” and feel Hamilton’s hamstring injury could’ve been worse, and the hope is that it’s a short-term injury. However, Broncos head coach Vic Fangio notes that hamstring injuries can linger, so we’ll see. He almost certainly won’t play in the Hall of Fame Game next Thursday, but hopefully he’s ready for Denver’s second preseason game on August 8.

Aaron Burbridge has retired from the NFL, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
During his college career at Michigan State, Burbridge worked his way into becoming one of the Spartans’ best players during his senior season in 2015, catching 85 passes for 1,258 yards and seven touchdowns. Burbridge was then a sixth-round pick of the 49ers in 2016, but he unfortunately battled injuries throughout his NFL career after seven catches for 88 yards as a rookie. After signing a reserve/future contract with the Broncos in January, the 25-year-old is now calling it a career. We wish Burbridge the best of luck on his post-playing life.

The Texans claimed Chad Hansen, according to ESPN’s Field Yates.
The 2017 fourth-round pick of the Jets has struggled to win a large role with a team, but he’s still just 24 years old and will look to secure a roster spot in Houston behind starters DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller, and Keke Coutee.
