Keke Coutee (hamstring) is officially listed as questionable for Week 17.

As expected, Coutee was limited in practice all week. The rookie receiver looks like a potential game-time call, and it probably helps that the game is in Houston after he was ruled out while not taking the trip the past two weeks for road games. Coutee has to step up for the Texans in real life, but he’s not a highly-recommended fantasy option if he’s active on Sunday.

The Panthers placed Taylor Heinicke (elbow) on injured reserve.

Heinicke deserves a lot of credit for coming back and finishing last Sunday’s game against the Falcons after suffering the left elbow injury, but his season is now over. Undrafted rookie Kyle Allen looks set to make his first NFL start this Sunday against the Saints and will get a chance to showcase his talent heading into next season. In 2019, Heinicke will probably be in the mix for the backup spot behind Cam Newton in Carolina.

Danny Amendola caught four passes for 26 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Bills.

Amendola’s first year as a Dolphin ends with 59 receptions for 575 yards (9.7 average) and one touchdown, all of which were down from 2017 in New England. The 33-year-old is under contract for one more season, but the team can move on from him with zero impact on the cap, so his status will likely come down to whether Adam Gase (or a new coaching staff) believes he is worth $6 million in the slot. Wherever Amendola plays in 2019, he is unlikely to become a big-time fantasy contributor.

Eric Ebron (concussion) officially returned to Colts practice.

Ebron appears to be making progress through concussion protocol, as he was a limited participant in today’s session. The team’s big touchdown-maker at tight end still has a few days to get fully cleared ahead of Sunday night’s win-or-go-home matchup against the Colts. We’ll see how Ebron is listed on the final Week 17 injury report when it’s released tomorrow.

The Panthers placed Kenyon Barner (knee) on injured reserve.

Barner was mostly a special-teams contributor for the Patriots and Panthers this season, so he doesn’t have a ton of fantasy value heading into the offseason. Teams will be interested in the Oregon product as a real-life contributor, though.

Rhett Ellison (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 17.

Ellison didn’t practice all week, and hopefully he’s feeling better soon as he continues to deal with his concussion. Ellison’s season ends with 25 receptions for 272 yards and a touchdown, and his receptions and yardage marks set new career-highs. He was getting more playing time over 2017 first-round pick Evan Engram for parts of the year, but ultimately he’s a bette real-life asset for the Giants than he is a big fantasy contributor. He’ll likely to undrafted in 2019 fantasy drafts.

Keelan Cole catches four passes in Week 17.

Cole gained 45 yards on his four receptions versus the Texans. Cole’s season ends with 38 receptions for 491 yards and one touchdown, a step back from his 42/748/3 line as an undrafted rookie in 2017. It was simply a bad season for Jacksonville, though, and Cole has the ability to bounce back next season. Cole could deliver fantasy value in a bounce-back season as a selection at the end of 2019 fantasy drafts.
