Join now >Nick Vannett scores in Week 9.
Vannett caught a laser strike from Russell Wilson between two defenders late in the game, showing great concentration to come up with a pass that wasn’t easy to secure. Overall, Vannett had six receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the Chargers, while Ed Dickson had no receptions. Seattle has a bit of a committee tight end approach right now, so it’s difficult to trust Vannett in fantasy lineups.

DeAndre Hopkins goes over 100 yards in win over the Broncos.
Hopkins caught ten passes (on 12 targets) for 105 yards, including a 16-yard touchdown reception in the first half. The 26-year-old is already up to a 63/894/7 line as Houston enters the bye week, and he will obviously be a matchup-proof WR1 the rest of the way, even if Demaryius Thomas and Keke Coutee get more involved. The Redskins are next up on the schedule in Week 11.
11/5/18 - 11:54 AM ET
The Bills waived Cam Phillips.
The undrafted rookie receiver from Virginia Tech is being waived to make room for former Broncos receiver Isaiah McKenzie. Phillips will land with another team if he doesn’t return to Buffalo.
11/5/18 - 05:45 PM ET
Josh Gordon has best game as a Patriot in Week 9.
Gordon caught five passes (on ten targets) for 130 yards and a touchdown, with the score coming on a 55-yarder in the fourth quarter to basically put the game away. The touchdown was on a pass down the left side of the field, where Gordon cut in front of the defensive back to make the catch and broke a tackle before heading to the end zone. This is the highest yardage total for Gordon as a Patriot, and the former All-Pro appears to be gaining more of Tom Brady’s trust by the week.
11/5/18 - 01:20 PM ET
Jeff Heuerman goes for 10/83/1 in loss to the Texans.
Heuerman was great on a team-high 11 targets, as he consistently made defenders miss on short receptions and helped set up the would-be game-winning field goal with three grabs on the game’s final drive (unfortunately, Brandon McManus missed a 51-yard attempt). The 25-year-old scored last week, but it was surprising to see him suddenly operate as the No. 1 option in the passing game, and he’s worth picking up for all fantasy owners seeking help at the position. However, the Broncos have a bye in Week 10, so you’ll have to wait for Heuerman to potentially get in lineups.
11/5/18 - 12:14 PM ET
Virgil Green catches two passes against the Seahawks.
Green gained 28 yards on his two receptions in the Chargers’ Week 9 win. Green is more of a real-life asset than he is a fantasy option right now.
11/5/18 - 11:53 AM ET
The Bills have claimed Isaiah McKenzie.
The 2017 fifth-round pick of the Broncos lands in a good spot with a Bills team that basically has a wide-open depth chart with likely no one locked into a roster spot for next season. McKenzie will look to carve out a role in Buffalo and stick with the team long-term.
