Join now >John Brown held in check as Ravens drop to 4-4.
Brown was second on the team with seven targets, but he caught just three passes for 28 yards. The versatile deep threat couldn’t bring in a couple contested catches on a day where Baltimore’s offense needed someone to make a play, but he should bounce back next week against the Steelers, who he stung for 3/116/1 last month, so consider him a high-upside WR2 option. Through eight games, Brown is on pace for 62 receptions, 1,172 yards, and eight touchdowns.

Kirk Cousins throws two touchdowns in Vikings’ loss to the Saints.
Cousins was 31/41 for 359 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the 30-20 home loss. Overall, Cousins played well and spread the ball around to his weapons—mainly Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen, as usual—but the interception was a costly pick-six on play where he forced a ball to Diggs (who stopped his route in a miscommunication) under pressure and probably should’ve just thrown the ball into the turf instead. Through eight games, Minnesota’s franchise quarterback is on pace for 5,042 yards, 32 touchdowns, and eight interceptions, and he has a legit chance to hit or exceed those marks despite the possibility of the Vikings running the ball more as the weather gets colder (though they play their home games in a dome). Next week, Cousins faces the Lions and will remain a solid QB1 option in fantasy lineups.

Kenny Golladay catches one pass in Lions’ loss.
Golladay gained 12 yards on his lone reception versus Seattle, and he surprisingly drew just one target in a game Matthew Stafford threw 40 passes. After an excellent start to the second, the second-year receiver has just three receptions for 49 yards the last two weeks. He offers obvious huge upside every week, but consider Golladay more of a WR2/FLEX option than a strong WR2 right now. And we’d think the Lions will know Golladay should get the ball more, so he might have that going for him.

Mark Ingram handles 16 touches in 30-20 win over the Vikings.
Ingram rushed 13 times for a team-high 63 yards, also adding three receptions for 29 yards. Alvin Kamara found the end zone twice (once through he air), but the dynamic duo each saw 13 carries, and the split should continue for a huge NFC clash next week against the Rams. Los Angeles can be attacked between the tackles, so Ingram will probably be a borderline RB1 option for Week 9 in a potential shootout.

Hayden Hurst scores first career touchdown in Week 8 loss.
Hurst caught two passes for 29 yards, including a 26-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. It also happened to be the first scoring toss of Lamar Jackson’s career. The first-round pick won’t be a recommended fantasy option in Week 9 against the Steelers with just three receptions in healthy four games.

Taysom Hill connects on 44-yard pass as New Orleans improves to 6-1.
Hill also rushed three times for negative-one yard, but the highlight was a deep throw over the middle to Michael Thomas in the first half. It actually looked to hit the ground, but wasn’t overturned or reviewed because there was defensive pass interference anyway. It will be fun to see what kind of tricks New Orleans has next week against the 8-0 Rams.

Levine Toilolo catches one pass in Week 8.
Toilolo gained 12 yards on his lone reception and lone target against Seattle. Toilolo is more of a real-life contributor as a strong run blocker than he is a fantasy contributor.
