Join now >LeSean McCoy (concussion) was officially limited in today’s practice.
This shows McCoy is making good progress through the concussion protocol. He has an extra day to get cleared with the Bills playing on Monday night, and it’s looking like he should get cleared. Check back on the veteran running back’s practice status tomorrow.

Bilal Powell is expected to make a full recovery from his neck injury, according to Jets head coach Todd Bowles.
This is great to hear, as yesterday it sounded like Powell’s career was in serious doubt. It’s no lock Powell will play again, but it looks like he should be able to if he wants to. Powell is set to become a free agent this offseason, but we’d think the Jets would be interested in bringing him back as at least a change-of-pace back in 2019. We again wish him luck on his surgery and recovery.

The Broncos promoted Isaiah McKenzie to the active roster.
The 2017 fifth-round pick might step in as the team’s primary punt returner with DaeSean Hamilton battling a knee injury. McKenzie is not a recommended fantasy option, but he’ll look to make some big plays for his team this Sunday against the Chiefs.

Kenny Stills (groin) has “a shot” to play in Week 9, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Stills’ groin injury isn’t considered serious, which is great to hear. He was ruled out early this week because it was going to be a stretch to play on a quick turnaround for tonight’s Thursdays night game, but Stills might be able to suit up against the Jets in Week 9. We’ll track his practice status next week, and it’ll be interesting to see how the Miami receiving corps performs without Stills and Albert Wilson (hip) tonight against Houston.

Geronimo Allison (hamstring) is “on track” to play in Week 8.
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy says it “looks good” for both Allison and Randall Cobb (hamstring) to play against the Rams on Sunday. He says there’s another threshold they need to pass, but they should both be ready to go in a potential shootout. We’ll update you if Allison is listed on the Week 8 injury report when it’s released tomorrow.

Randall Cobb (hamstring) is expected to play in Week 8.
Cobb indicated on social media that he would be back this week, and Packers head coach Mike McCarthy says he will play barring a setback. Geronimo Allison (hamstring) is also set to return, so Aaron Rodgers should have his full set of receivers in a potential shootout with the Rams. We’ll let you know if anything changes with Cobb’s status when the official injury report for the game is released on Friday, but expect him to be in the FLEX conversation for Week 8.

The Giants promoted Corey Coleman to their active roster.
The Giants don’t have a bonafide No. 3 wide receiver to go with Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard, so this is interesting. Coleman presumably showed enough in practice in the last week to get a shot on the 53-man roster, and there’s a chance the 2016 first-round pick becomes a clear starter for the Giants moving forward. The talented Baylor product is not a highly-recommended fantasy pickup right now, but he’s someone to hold in dynasty leagues.
