Join now >Rishard Matthews is signing with the Jets, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
This probably means Terrelle Pryor won’t be re-signing with the Jets. Matthews might immediately step into a starting role along with Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse while Quincy Enunwa remains sidelined with an ankle injury. However, the former Dolphin and Titan is not a recommended fantasy pickup.

Ricky Ortiz makes first NFL receptions in win over the Giants.
Ortiz caught two passes for seven yards as Atlanta defeated New York, 23-20. The fullback won’t be a recommended fantasy option when the Falcons return from their Week 8 bye.

Eric Saubert catches one pass in win over the Giants.
It went for eight yards. The second-year tight end won’t be a recommended fantasy option when Atlanta returns from their Week 8 bye.

Mohamed Sanu caught two passes for 21 yards as Atlanta tops the Giants.
Sanu only saw two targets in the victory, but he should be more involved (and healthier) when the team returns from their Week 8 bye for a couple good road matchups against the Redskins and Browns. He doesn’t need to be rostered right now, but Sanu should be a decent FLEX weekly option down the stretch.

Justin Hardy caught two passes for 24 yards in Atlanta’s win over the Giants.
Hardy was able to haul in both of his targets, but the passing game mostly ran through Julio Jones as everyone else saw the looks evenly distributed. The 26-year-old won’t be a recommended fantasy option when the Falcons return from their Week 8 bye.

Scott Simonson doesn’t catch a pass in Giants’ loss.
Simonson was targeted as a secondary option on a play-action pass at the goal line, but he couldn’t come up with a catch that he probably could’ve made. Simonson is a better real-life contributor than fantasy asset at the moment.

Calvin Ridley caught five passes for 43 yards in Monday night’s win over the Giants.
Ridley was second on the team with six targets, and he looked healthy and explosive coming off his ankle injury. The rookie will have some disappointing games in a loaded offense, but he obviously needs to remain rostered as Atlanta heads into their Week 8 bye, and he should be a low-end WR2/FLEX option when the team returns to face the Redskins in Washington.
