Join now >Jack Doyle (hip) was officially limited in practice.
Doyle has missed the last five games, but he’s getting close to a return. Colts head coach Frank Reich says he has a chance to play this week, so we’ll track his practice status throughout the week. A full participation tomorrow or Friday would be a great sign.

Bilal Powell is having neck surgery.
This explains Powell being placed on injured reserve. Jets head coach Todd Bowles said it’s “possible” this is a career-ending injury for the 29-year-old running back. This is tough to hear, and we wish Powell the best of luck moving forward.

Darren Sproles (hamstring) did not practice today.
It’s only Wednesday, but Sproles is probably on the doubtful side of things for this Sunday’s London game against the Jaguars. We’ll monitor his practice status throughout the week and keep you updated.

The Dolphins promoted Leonte Carroo to the active roster.
The 2016 third-round pick from Rutgers is being promoted as a corresponding move to Albert Wilson (hip) being placed on injured reserve. Carroo isn’t a recommended fantasy pickup yet.

The Dolphins have placed Albert Wilson (hip) on injured reserve.
This move was expected after the former Chief went down in Sunday’s loss to the Lions, but he will reportedly not require surgery, which is a good sign. If he doesn’t return in Week 16, the 26-year-old finishes his first season in Miami with 26 receptions for 391 yards and four touchdowns, and he will likely have a quality role in 2019.

Jon Gruden talks up Doug Martin.
Gruden called the former All-Pro a “feature back” that’s “ready to go” now that Marshawn Lynch (groin) has been placed on injured reserve. This is what we’ve expected since the Lynch injury, and Gruden basically confirmed Martin could be in line for a heavy workload over the next several weeks. If Martin is still available in your league, pick him up as a potential 20-touch player down the stretch. Consider Martin a solid option in Week 8 fantasy lineups.

The Broncos have released Chad Kelly, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Kelly was arrested for first-degree criminal trespassing early Tuesday morning, and now it’s being reported that he was in a physical altercation at teammate Von Miller’s party prior to the arrest. The second-year quarterback has simply not kept his head straight, and unfortunately he might not ever get it together considering he blew an opportunity to potentially be the Broncos’ quarterback of the future. Now, Denver is without a young quarterback to potentially lead the franchise unless they believe Case Keenum can be that guy into his 30s. It seems unlikely another team will give Jim Kelly’s nephew another shot in the NFL, as the 24-year-old is difficult to trust right now.
