Join now >DeAndre Hopkins goes over 150 yards in Texans’ win.
Hopkins was targeted a team-high 13 times against the Cowboys, catching nine passes for 151 yards including a clutch 49-yard catch-and-run—with a couple of spin moves—in overtime to help set up the Texans for a game-winning field goal. He did lose a fumble in Houston territory, but he made up for it later. Hopkins has a tough matchup with Bills shutdown corner Tre’Davious White, but Hopkins is too good to bench in fantasy lineups; also, Hopkins often gets away with using his hands at the top of routes, and White is a sticky corner that stays on the hip of opposing receivers, so that might be a recipe for success for Hopkins if the officials don’t call push-offs.

Rod Smith rushed three times for ten yards in Sunday night’s loss to the Texans.
He wasn’t targeted in the passing game. Smith is just a handcuff that doesn’t need to be owned with the Cowboys lacking their usual dominance up front. Dallas will look to avoid 2-4 against Jacksonville next Sunday.

Ezekiel Elliott bottled up on 27 touches as Dallas falls to Houston in overtime.
Elliott rushed 20 times f0r 54 yards, also adding seven receptions for 30 yards. The workload is obviously extremely encouraging, but a lack of playmakers on the perimeter allowed the Texans to stack the box, which will certainly be the formula for Jacksonville next Sunday. Zeke still leads the league in rushing and has been more involved as a receiver, but the Cowboys haven’t been that dominant up front, which caps his upside and lowers his floor. Running room won’t be easy to come by next weekend.

Keke Coutee scores first career touchdown in Texans’ win.
Coutee caught a pass on a fly sweep motion for a one-yard score in the second quarter against the Cowboys. Overall, the rookie receiver caught six passes for 51 yards and a touchdown and added one carry for two yards. Coutee’s 17 receptions through his first two games broke DeAndre Hopkins’ franchise rookie record, and the rookie should remain a big part of Houston’s offense moving forward.

Alfred Blue gets 28 touches against the Cowboys.
Lamar Miller (chest) was officially active for the game but did not play at less than 100%, so Blue was a workhorse for the Texans in their overtime win. Blue carried 20 times for 46 yards and added eight receptions (on eight targets) for 73 yards. It was tough sledding on the ground, as the offensive line couldn’t open up holes against Dallas’ defense. Miller should be ready to go for Week 7 against the Bills, but Blue will still have a role on offense.

Dak Prescott, Cowboys fall to the Texans in overtime, 19-16.
Prescott was 18/29 for 208 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the loss, also adding six carries for 34 yards. Those who didn’t watch the game will ignorantly say Dak struggled, but neither turnover was really his fault, with the first bouncing right off Tavon Austin’s hands, and the second deflecting into the air on the good defensive play. Overall, Prescott made plays for an offense that has basically no threat other than Ezekiel Elliott, and the coaching staff probably made a mistake—though hindsight is obviously 20/20—in not going for it on fourth-and-one in overtime and allowing Houston to get in range for the game-winning field goal. Prescott almost certainly doesn’t have the weapons to overcome a matchup with the Jaguars next Sunday.

Deshaun Watson eclipses 400+ total yards for third straight week.
Watson continues to put his body on the line and take a beating despite coming off a torn ACL last season, and he’s basically carrying the offense right now. In a 19-16 overtime win against the Cowboys, Watson was 33/44 for 375 yards, one touchdown, one interception, and also added ten carries for 40 yards. The score was a forward pass fly sweep to Keke Coutee for one yard. Overall, Watson hit the open receiver and kept the ball moving down the field while throwing accurate passes both from the pocket and on the run. Watson has at least 21 standard fantasy points in each of the last four games and is a strong QB1 next week against the Bills.
