Join now >Rico Gathers makes first career reception in loss to the Texans.
It was a 32-yard on his only target of the game. Gathers has the upside that others don’t for Dallas, but he seems unlikely to make a 2018 impact.

Jordan Akins catches one pass in Week 5.
Akins was targeted twice against the Cowboys, gaining nine yards on his lone reception. The rookie tight end is not a fantasy option yet.
10/8/18 - 01:58 PM ET
Tavon Austin caught one pass for 44 yards in Sunday night’s loss to Houston.
Austin was on the receiving end up an unbelievable play by Dak Prescott in which he escaped a J.J. Watt sack and scrambled away to uncork a deep ball, but he was unfortunately also on the receiving end of an interception that went right off his hands. The former first-round pick isn’t a recommended fantasy play heading into a matchup with the Jaguars.

Jordan Thomas catches one pass in Week 5.
Thomas gained 11 yards on his lone reception against Dallas. Ryan Griffin worked as the clear top tight end for the Texans in the win, so Thomas is not a fantasy option right now.
10/8/18 - 01:57 PM ET
Will Fuller V catches two passes in Week 5.
Fuller gained 15 yards on his two receptions against the Cowboys. He entered the game with the hamstring issue that had him limited in practice throughout the week, so perhaps he was more of a decoy than anything—but he appeared to be in nearly every snap. Fuller will look to bounce back against the Bills in Week 6.
10/8/18 - 01:56 PM ET
Geoff Swaim leads Dallas in receiving against the Texans.
Swaim caught three-of-three targets for 55 yards in the loss. There were a couple well-designed plays to get the ball in Swaim’s hands early, but he faded away after that as Dallas searched for offense all night. The 27-year-old isn’t a recommended fantasy play in Week 6 against the Jags.
10/8/18 - 01:55 PM ET
Ryan Griffin catches six passes against the Cowboys.
Griffin’s nine targets were behind only DeAndre Hopkins, and he gained 65 yards on his six receptions. He was a reliable target for Deshaun Watson on quick passes where he made himself available for solid gains to stay ahead of the chains. Griffin is more of a real-life asset than fantasy asset.
