Join now >Charles Clay (ankle) is officially active for Week 5.
Clay was a full participant in Friday’s practice, so this was fully expected. The veteran tight end probably needs a score to deliver value in fantasy lineups.
10/7/18 - 11:36 AM ET
Hayden Hurst (foot) is active for the Ravens, making his NFL debut.
After missing the first four games of the season, the 25-year-old first-round rookie tight end will make his professional debut against the Browns. The former minor league baseball player is expected to be an immediate contributor during his first NFL season
10/7/18 - 11:34 AM ET
Marvin Jones (ankle) is officially active against the Packers.
Jones was again listed as questionable entering the week, but he probably would’ve been given the probable designation if the NFL still had that as a designation. You can insert Jones into fantasy lineups as a solid option in a potential shootout.
10/7/18 - 11:32 AM ET
Geronimo Allison (concussion) is inactive for Week 5.
Allison was unable to clear concussion protocol, so he’s out of the lineup for Green Bay. With Randall Cobb (hamstring) also out, this means rookie Marquez Valdes-Scantling will be the team’s No. 2 receiver behind Davante Adams against the Lions. Valdes-Scantling is in the FLEX conversation as one of Aaron Rodgers’ primary pass-catchers this week.
10/7/18 - 11:32 AM ET
Davante Adams (calf) is officially active for Week 5.
Adams injured his hamstring during the week, but it seems to be a minor ailment and there wasn’t much doubt about his status for today’s divisional matchup against the Lions. With Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Geronimo Allison (concussion) out, Adams should be set for a ton of targets this week. You can safely insert Adams into lineups as a WR1.
10/7/18 - 11:30 AM ET
Sammy Watkins (hamstring) is active against the Jaguars
Watkins’ hamstring injury suffered in last Monday’s win against the Broncos was a minor one, and he’ll be out there today in a big matchup with the Jaguars. Because this is such a difficult matchup, consider Watkins more of a weak FLEX option for Week 5, but the Chiefs should move him around the formation enough that he could do some damage.
10/7/18 - 11:28 AM ET
Josh Doctson (heel) is questionable for Week 5.
Doctson was injured in practice when the team returned from its bye week, and there seems to be some pessimism surrounding his status for Monday night. If Doctson is out, Michael Floyd might then have a role for Washington, but neither is a highly-recommended fantasy option this week.
