Join now >The Broncos waived DaeSean Hamilton.
Hamilton is the second player in the past couple of weeks that the Broncos have waived following a serious injury sustained away from the team facility. However, it’s worth noting that Denver was planning on trading or waiving Hamilton before the injury. Hamilton faces a lengthy rehab process from his torn ACL, but we’ll see if another team claims him to get him in the building with an eye toward 2022.

The Giants waived Joe Webb.
Webb is being released to make room for recently-claimed running back Ryquell Armstead. Webb is one of the NFL’s more versatile players, so he should draw interest relatively quickly.

The Giants claimed Ryquell Armstead.
After getting waived by the Jaguars, the Temple product will be moving back up the East Coast to join the Giants. While New York has a deep backfield, Armstead should have a decent shot to win a roster spot this summer.

The Broncos are signing Damion Willis, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Willis caught nine passes for the Bengals a couple of seasons ago, and he will now hope to make an impression to stick around on a crowded Denver depth chart. The former undrafted rookie will turn 24 next month.

Joe Burrow (knee) is on track to be ready for Week 1.
Dr. Neal ElAattrache Kerlan-Jobe told ESPN’s Adam Schefter in a text that Burrow is set to be “all systems go” for the season opener this September. It’s great to hear such optimism, and the expectation is that Burrow will be ready to face the Vikings on September 12, but hopefully the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s draft isn’t rushed back, as we’ve seen happen to other high-profile quarterbacks over the past decade. Still, Burrow’s recovery appears to be going very well, and he likely won’t have any contact on the knee until the regular season begins. Following a promising rookie year before it was cut short, Burrow will be joined by college teammate Ja’Marr Chase this year after the Bengals took the star receiver fifth overall last month.

The Patriots are signing Brian Hoyer, according to The Boston Globe’s Jim McBride.
New England is bringing back a veteran quarterback they are obviously very comfortable and familiar with, and Hoyer will likely be a good presence for rookie first-rounder Mac Jones to lean on at least through the summer.

The Chiefs waived Tajae Sharpe.
Sharpe just re-signed with Kansas City earlier this offseason, so he’s again in search of a new team. Perhaps the Titans will be a landing spot for the former fifth-round pick of Tennessee given the team’s light receiver depth chart.
