Join now >Cameron Artis-Payne runs for long touchdown in Week 10.
The Panthers dominated, particularly in the second half, in their 45-21 victory over the Dolphins—and Artis-Payne received more work in this game than he did all season. CAP carried seven times for 68 yards and a touchdown in the Monday night win, with the touchdown coming on a 43-yard run where he broke through a poor tackling attempt at the second level of the defense. Artis-Payne doesn’t get enough work to be a fantasy option, but it’s good to see him contribute on offense when given several carries—he’s shown in the past that he can.

Official: Larry Fitzgerald signs one-year extension with the Cardinals.
The already-legendary receiver will now officially remain with the Cardinals through next season, which could be the final of his great career. Sitting at sixth all-time on the receiving yardage list in NFL history, if Fitzgerald remains healthy it’s very likely he’ll get to the second spot behind Jerry Rice (he needs 868 yards to pass Terrell Owens for number two). But Fitzgerald’s main goal is to win a Super Bowl, as he’s basically accomplished everything else and will be a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer regardless of how he plays over the next season-plus. Fitz is still playing at a high level, and everyone should try to enjoy his exemplary attitude and play on the field before he calls it a career.

Jonathan Stewart goes over 100 yards against the Dolphins.
Carolina’s running game has struggled for most of the season, but it didn’t struggle at all in this Monday night win over Miami. Stewart, who hadn’t rushed for 100 yards this season, carried 17 times for 110 yards in the victory, as he picked up positive yardage throughout the night. The only thing that was really missing for Stewart was a touchdown, but it’s a big positive to see the running game get going like this. We’ll see if the Panthers can keep it going when they emerge from their Week 11 bye, and Stewart is worth a flier in standard leagues as a potential 15+ carry guy in a good offense down the stretch if you don’t know what to do with an open bench spot on your roster.

Taywan Taylor doesn’t get a touchdown against the Steelers.
Taylor was targeted on time in the Thursday night loss, as the Titans didn’t seem to have any plays to get the ball in his hands. Because he doesn’t have a huge role yet, Taylor should only be on fantasy rosters in dynasty leagues.

Cam Newton throws for four touchdowns as the Panthers improve to 7-3.
Newton had one of his best games of the season in the Monday nighter against the Dolphins, as he made plays both through the air and with his legs while improving to 5-1 on Monday night. He did struggle with accuracy at times, but that’s common for Newton. Overall, he was 21/35 for 254 yards and four touchdowns while also adding five carries for 95 yards—with a long of 69 yards on a zone-read. Newton threw a couple of touchdowns to Devin Funchess, one to Ed Dickson, and one to Christian McCaffrey, and it doesn’t seem like he’s missing Kelvin Benjamin too much right now. The 2015 NFL MVP now gets a bye week, but he’ll look to keep his MVP-form going when he returns in Week 12.

Jonnu Smith gets one target in Week 11.
Smith didn’t catch his lone target in the game. The rookie tight end has a bright future, but his role isn’t big enough to be a fantasy option right now.

Julius Thomas scores in Dolphins’ loss.
Thomas might’ve gotten his highest percentage of snaps in weeks, as he appeared to be in there for most of the game. He caught two of five targets for eight yards and a touchdown in the game, with the touchdown coming on a shuffle pass by the goal line. Thomas was also targeted on a sluggo-type of route early in the game, but it wasn’t a great route and was easily covered. You’re hoping for a touchdown if you put Thomas in your fantasy lineup.
