Join now >Andre Ellington (quadricep) was limited in practice today.
It’s only Wednesday, but it appears Ellington isn’t at full strength after the bye. They could use him as they attempt to improve to 4-3 without their quarterback and starting running back.

Orleans Darkwa handles 18 touches in blowout loss.
Darkwa rushed 16 times for 71 yards and caught two passes for eight yards. The Giants starter did well to receive the touches he did in a 51-17 loss. He gets a good matchup against San Francisco next week, but Darkwa is probably better left on the bench or waiver wire outside of deeper leagues.

Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) was limited in today’s practice.
Sanders expects to be ready for Sunday against the Eagles, and this is a good start to the week. We’ll monitor Sanders’ practice status throughout the week.

Devontae Booker gets eight touches against the Eagles.
Booker carried six times for 21 yards and caught two of three targets for nine yards. He carried the ball the best out of the Broncos backfield (C.J. Anderson had nine carries for 13 yards, and Jamaal Charles had four carries for one yard), and we know the coaching staff really likes him, so it’s possible Booker starts to emerge as the clear lead runner for Denver. The Broncos face the Patriots on Sunday night next week.

Josh Gordon has been reinstated by the NFL on a conditional basis.
After an absence of over two years, Gordon is eligible to play football again—but there are conditions and he won’t be able to play until November 27. The conditions are likely similar to those Steelers WR Martavis Bryant has to follow, but it’ll be up to him to follow them and avoid a likely banishment from the league. Gordon apparently has his life in order, and the NFL buys it—otherwise, they would not have reinstated him. Cleveland is lacking in playmakers, especially with Corey Coleman hurt and Kenny Britt not panning out so far after signing with the team during the offseason, and the Browns said they are open to keeping Gordon. It’s possible the team decides to ultimately release Gordon, in which case there would probably be other teams interested in him. The former All-Pro receiver is worth a pickup in all fantasy leagues; but keep in mind he has not played since 2014 and won’t be able to play until Week 13, so don’t have sky-high expectations for his impact this season.

Rishard Matthews scores against the Ravens.
Matthews was a reliable target for Marcus Mariota on intermediate throws over the middle, catching four of seven targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in the Week 9 victory. The touchdown was on a 16-yard throw to the end zone in the first quarter. Through eight games, Matthews is on pace for 62 receptions, 926 yards, and four touchdowns. He gets the Bengals in Week 10.
11/6/17 - 01:00 PM ET
Paul Perkins (ribs) was a full participant in today’s practice.
Perkins appears to be 100% after the Giants’ bye week. It’s unclear if he’ll even be active against the Rams, though, as Orleans Darkwa, Wayne Gallman, and Shane Vereen are the main guys in the backfield now. Perkins might need to contribute on special teams to be active again, but we’ll see.
