Tyler Higbee | Rams TE

Tyler Higbee scores in Week 9 win.

It was an eight-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter of a 51-17 win, and his only catch of the game. Higbee can stay on the waiver wire heading into a matchup with the Texans.

Leonard Fournette | Free Agent RB

Leonard Fournette (ankle) was a full participant in today’s practice.

After missing one game in Week 7, the bye week has done him good and the rookie back will be ready to go this Sunday against the Bengals. Expect Fournette to easily surpass 20 touches, as he’s had at least 23 touches in every game except one this season. You can safely insert him into your lineup as a superb RB1, and with the bye week out of the way, you can hopefully keep him in there for the rest of the year.

Ryan Griffin | Free Agent TE

Ryan Griffin is out with a concussion.

Griffin was questionable to return, but he presumably did not pass concussion protocol. He didn’t have any reception before leaving. Griffin has dealt with concussion issues throughout the year, so this might be a length absence. Hopefully Griffin is OK.

Jimmy Garoppolo | Rams QB

Jimmy Garoppolo might not play for the 49ers this season.

Garoppolo is very likely to play, but it won’t happen until he’s ready, as 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said, “I can’t promise you that he will play this year.” This isn’t the case of the Niners simply wanting to sit Garoppolo to keep him healthy for a more competitive team next season—he plays quarterback and it’s going to take some time to learn a new offense. Until Jimmy G is comfortable enough with the playbook to play in a full game, he won’t be the starter. Garoppolo could be a quick study and start as soon as Week 10 against the Giants, though.

Derrick Henry | Ravens RB

Derrick Henry scores in Week 9.

Henry carried eight times for 26 yards and a touchdown against the Ravens, while also adding two receptions for ten yards. The score came on a carry by the goal line, and it was his third touchdown of the season. Through eight games, Henry is on pace for 166 carries, 714 rushing yards, six rushing touchdowns, 12 receptions, and 90 receiving yards. He’s a monster of a player, but right now Henry is just a FLEX option in a backfield that still included DeMarco Murray.

11/6/17 - 12:52 PM ET

Kenyan Drake | Free Agent RB

Adam Gase won’t name a starting running back.

The Dolphins head coach said he wants to see how things go in practice, so we might not get any clarity on the situation before Sunday night against the Raiders. Kenyan Drake, a third-round selection last year, figures to be the favorite to take over the lead role, but Damien Williams and Senorise Perry will also have an opportunity. Consider Drake the best play this week, with Williams also having some FLEX value in PPR leagues.

Jameis Winston | Giants QB

Jameis Winston (shoulder) is questionable to return against the Saints.

With the Buccaneers down 16-3, Ryan Fitzpatrick is in the game to start the second half. Winston is on the sideline with his pads on and appears to be available, but it’ll probably be Fitzpatrick for the rest of the game if he remains healthy. Winston is still dealing with his shoulder injury, and he was only 7/13 for 67 yards before leaving the game.
