Jarvis Landry | Free Agent WR

Jarvis Landry remains on the Dolphins after the trade deadline.

Landry was one of the most talked about players today ahead of the 4:00 PM ET deadline, with Giants receiver—and former LSU teammate of Landry—Odell Beckham Jr. was basically calling for his team to acquire the Dolphins receiver. The Miami Herald’s Armando Salguero reports that Landry was available for the right price, and also added earlier that Landry doesn’t always do what the coaches want from him. This is the fourth-year receiver’s final year under contract with the team, and if we had to guess, the Dolphins won’t be retaining him after the season with the way things sound at the moment.

Jay Ajayi | Free Agent RB

Jay Ajayi will reportedly get 10-15 snaps today.

FOX’s Jay Glazer said that’s about all he’ll get because he just arrived with the team after being traded from the Dolphins before the trade deadline. If you’re inserting Ajayi into your fantasy lineup against the Broncos, you’re hoping he breaks a long run or scores.

David Johnson | Free Agent RB

Cardinals HC Bruce Arians says he doubts David Johnson (wrist) will play again this season.

The writing is pretty much on the wall for Arizona, as they don’t have Johnson, they don’t have quarterback Carson Palmer, and they play in one of the toughest divisions in football. If they aren’t in playoff contention toward the end of the year, they aren’t going to risk rushing Johnson back from his wrist injury at less than 100%. You should still hope the star running back is able to play this season in the fantasy playoffs if you get that far, but it no longer appears to be a lock that we’ll see Johnson on the field again in 2017.

Chris Moore | Free Agent WR

Chris Moore catches one pass in Week 9.

Moore was targeted four times, but he had only the one reception, gaining 16 yards. His role isn’t big enough to be a recommended fantasy option right now.

Trevor Siemian | Free Agent QB

Broncos are “evaluating” the quarterback spot.

After an excellent start to the season, Trevor Siemian has struggled as of late, so Denver has no choice but to at least think of making a quarterback change. Team president John Elway said a decision will be made in the next few days, and it’d likely have to come by before Thursday’s practice at the latest—they have a game to play on Sunday against the 7-1 Eagles. For fantasy purposes, a switch to Brock Osweiler would probably help Demaryius Thomas, who might be heavily targeted by Osweiler. If it’s Paxton Lynch, it might hurt the value of Denver’s receivers, as Lynch hasn’t had a lot of playing experience yet. Thomas averaged 5.3 receptions, 69.7 yards, and 0.7 touchdowns per game in Osweiler’s seven starts in 2015, so he’ll probably be a better bet to score touchdowns with a quarterback change.

Demarcus Robinson | 49ers WR

Demarcus Robinson catches one pass in Week 8.

Robinson gained five yards on his lone reception against Denver. He’ll have an easier matchup against Dallas in Week 9, but Robinson isn’t a reliable fantasy option quite yet.

10/31/17 - 12:22 AM ET

Breshad Perriman | Free Agent WR

Breshad Perriman gets seven targets against the Titans.

Perriman caught three passes for 28 yards in Baltimore’s loss, and he was targeted on a deep ball to the end zone but it was broken up. The talented former first-rounder has a ton of potential, but he’s not a reliable fantasy option yet and doesn’t need to be on fantasy rosters.
