Join now >Leonard Fournette’s reason for being inactive has reportedly emerged.
On FOX NFL Sunday, Jay Glazer reported Fournette missed the team photo, a team workout, and a treatment, so Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone rightly sent the message that things like that will not be tolerated. Fournette is an excellent player, but he needs to start taking things more seriously so he can continue to be great. Consider him likely to play next week against the Chargers.

Josh Gordon’s meeting with the NFL is tomorrow, according to Adam Schefter.
Schefter previously reported the meeting was today, but he’s now saying it’s actually tomorrow. Teams that want to trade for Gordon won’t have any answer on his reinstatement status before the 4:00 PM ET trade deadline. We’re now nearing an hour until the deadline, so we’ll see if Gordon remains with the Browns or if he’ll be suiting up for another team in the event of reinstatement.

The Patriots trade QB Jimmy Garoppolo to the 49ers.
Well, Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers look like they might have their franchise quarterback. After months of speculation about a potential Garoppolo trade, one comes the night before the trade deadline in a surprising move that sends Garoppolo to the Niners for a 2018 second-round pick, according to Adam Schefter. Garoppolo will need time to adjust to the offense, but he’ll be making starts sooner than later—likely with his first one with the Niners coming in Week 10 against the Giants. For fantasy purposes, Garoppolo is worth a look if you’re really struggling at quarterback, but he’ll probably be a lot better in future years than he will be after making a mid-season switch to San Francisco—though this will be a big upgrade for both Carlos Hyde and Pierre Garcon for this season. This also confirms that the Patriots believe (smartly and accurately) that Tom Brady will be playing into at least his mid-40s.

Gerald Everett catches 44-yard pass in Week 9 win.
It was his only reception of the game, but he also rushed once for 13 yards. The rookie isn’t a reliable fantasy option this season, but he could eventually be a star for those in dynasty leagues.

Brandon Coleman held to one reception in win over the Bucs.
It went for seven yards. New Orleans didn’t have to push things in an eventual 30-10 victory that they controlled throughout. Coleman will make plays, but he can remain on the waiver wire as the Saints look to win their seventh-straight game next week in Buffalo.

Danny Woodhead (hamstring) has officially returned to practice.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh indicated Woodhead had a good chance of practicing this week, and he’s now back. Woodhead is not yet eligible to play, but after a couple weeks of practice he should be ready to go for Week 11 after Baltimore’s Week 10 bye week. If Woodhead was dropped in your league, he’s certainly worth a look—especially in PPR leagues, where he is a must add.

Tyreek Hill throws interception against the Broncos.
You read that correctly. Hill lined up in the backfield early in the game and took a pass, but his natural lefty throw came up short—and he probably should’ve just thrown it away or only given his tight end Ross Travis could get it. Other than his pass attempt, Hill caught two of six targets for 38 yards against the Broncos. Through half a season as a the number one wide receiver for Kansas City, the second-year playmaker is on pace for 76 receptions, 1,106 receiving yards, six receiving touchdowns, 18 carries, 44 rushing yards, and two punt return touchdowns. Tonight wasn’t ideal for fantasy owners, but look for him to bounce back against Dallas next week.
