Join now >John Ross is inactive for the Bengals.
He’s apparently a healthy scratch, as the rookie receiver hasn’t had a huge role this season while dealing with knee issues. It’s unlikely Ross is inactive for the rest of the season, so we’ll see if he plays in Week 10 versus Tennessee.

Mike Wallace (concussion) is officially active against the Titans.
Wallace has been cleared of his concussion for about a week and a half now, and it’s great to hear that he’ll be back out there after feeling better. With six teams on a bye this week, Wallace is in the FLEX conversation today.

Martavis Bryant has been told he’s a part of the Week 10 gameplan, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
The Steelers have a bye this week, but it sounds like the disgruntled receiver will be back in the lineup in the team’s next game after being inactive for his social media use in which he complained about his role. This could also be posturing by the Steelers to get more out of any potential trade of Bryant, but for now expect him to be on the field in Week 10 with Pittsburgh. JuJu Smith-Schuster will still be the superior fantasy option until further notice.

Emmanuel Sanders (ankle) won’t play tonight.
Sanders says he’s a week away and thinks he’ll play this Sunday against the Eagles for Week 9. The Broncos receiver says he can run full speed but has trouble stopping and cutting, so he’ll officially be inactive in an hour from now. Expect Demaryius Thomas to get a ton of targets with Sanders out again, and the Broncos will likely put Thomas on the left side away from Chiefs’ top corner Marcus Peters.

Tavon Austin rushed six times for 34 yards in Sunday’s blowout win over the Giants.
Austin didn’t have a reception, but Sean McVay continues to get his dynamic weapon involved. Still, he is a better real-life threat than fantasy contributor. Keep him on the waiver wire.

The Bills signed running back Travaris Cadet.
After the season-ending arm injury to running back Taiwan Jones in Thursday’s game, the Bills are bringing in Cadet to help fill the void. Cadet might mix in on offense more than Jones did, but he’s not a reliable fantasy option in Buffalo’s backfield.

Josh Gordon will meet with the NFL on Tuesday.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Browns could look to trade Gordon’s rights. The talented but troubled receiver is currently suspended by the NFL, and he needs to be reinstated to be eligible to play again. He came out with a feature on Uninterrupted to talk about how he abused drugs and tried to game the system while staying on the field, and it sounds like he sincerely wants to stay clean and play again. But after so many times of showing utter lack of discipline or caring, no team is going to give up premium picks for Gordon—so we’ll see if someone offers a late-rounder for him.
