Mark Ingram | Free Agent RB

Mark Ingram rushed 16 times for 77 yards in Sunday’s win over the Bucs.

He also caught a two-yard pass. It was good to see Ingram out-touch Alvin Kamara after fumbling twice in Week 8, but the rookie gained 152 total yards and scored twice. Still, there is enough work for both to be successful fantasy plays, and Ingram should continue to be the preferred option in standard leagues as a solid RB1 against Buffalo next week.

C.J. Anderson | Retired RB

C.J. Anderson gets 15 carries in Week 8.

Anderson gained 78 yards on his 15 carries while catching one pass for no yards. He ran well and handled about two thirds of the rushing attempts for the Broncos (Devontae Booker had six carries and Jamaal Charles had eight carries), but Booker ended up with a carry inside the ten that went for a touchdown. Not getting 20 carries per game and with a difficult matchup against the Eagles, Anderson is just a FLEX option in Week 9.

Jamison Crowder | Free Agent WR

Jamison Crowder (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for Week 9.

Crowder was listed as questionable despite doubt that he’d be able to suit up, but now he officially will not play versus Seattle. With Jordan Reed (hamstring) also out, the Redskins will likely have their hands full in a difficult matchup with the Seahawks. This could mean benched receiver Terrelle Pryor gets some more time this week, with Josh Doctson and Ryan Grant likely to be the two starters. None are inspiring fantasy options this week, but Doctson is probably the best play of the three.

11/4/17 - 04:11 PM ET

Carson Palmer | Retired QB

The Cardinals placed Carson Palmer (broken arm) on Injured Reserve.

There was some hope Palmer would heal quicker than eight weeks and be ready to play, but now he’ll officially be out for at least eight weeks with the chance to come back at the very end of the season as a designated to return player. It’ll be up to Palmer’s teammates to step up and keep the team in playoff contention while he’s out. But chances are, Palmer won’t be playing again in 2017. He can be dropped from fantasy teams, but hopefully this isn’t the last we’ve seen of him in the NFL, as it’d be a shame to have to go out like this.

Trevor Siemian | Free Agent QB

Trevor Siemian struggles in Broncos’ loss.

The offensive line again did Siemian no favors, but he really did not play well in this one. He was 19/36 for 198 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while adding two carries for 20 yards in the loss to Kansas City. Two of interceptions were particularly bad, with one of them coming on a pass down the sideline to a tight end covered by Marcus Peters, and the other bad one coming late in the game on a throw across the field and across his body. The Broncos have made it clear they are sticking with Siemian at quarterback—and the offensive line has not helped—but they might decide to make a switch and try to give the offense a spark soon. Brock Osweiler went 5-2 with this team a couple years ago, so don’t be surprised if he gets the nod soon. On the other hand, Siemian is still a young quarterback going through some things and should improve with experience.

10/30/17 - 11:47 PM ET

Golden Tate | Free Agent WR

Golden Tate plays well through shoulder issue.

Tate toughed it out and didn’t miss any games after injuring his shoulder in Week 6, catching seven of eight targets for 86 yards against the Steelers—but he did lose a fumble in the game. Although once after taking a hit he was helped up using only the arm with the good shoulder, Tate didn’t seem affected by the issue at all and showed his usual great ability with the ball. Tate will be a good option against the Packers on Monday night next week.

10/30/17 - 02:35 PM ET

Javorius Allen | Giants RB

Javorius Allen scores in Week 9.

Allen carried seven times for 21 yards and added seven receptions (on eight targets) for 44 yards and a touchdown versus Tennessee. The touchdown was a short one on a pass to the flat out of the backfield, and it’s good to see him remain so involved in the passing game. However, Danny Woodhead (hamstring) is set to return in Week 11 after the team’s bye week, so the role of Allen is up in the air. He’ll almost certainly still be contributing to the Ravens, but Woodhead might take a lot of his work immediately.
