Join now >Josh Doctson gets five targets in Redskins’ loss.
This might have been the most Doctson played all season, as Terrelle Pryor was basically phased out of the gameplan and Doctson was basically the top target at wide receiver along with Jamison Crowder. Doctson had three receptions for 39 yards, and he flashed his ability on a quick smoke pass where he stiff armed Eagles cornerback Patrick Robinson before running up the sideline for a nice gain. He’s more of a dynasty option right now, but Doctson is someone to watch for the rest of this season.

Dion Lewis leads New England backfield in SNF win.
Lewis rushed 13 times for 76 yards, also adding a six-yard reception. The five-foot-eight back has looked like the Patriots best runner, so they’re sticking with him as the lead early-down guy over Mike Gillislee. Things could change at any moment with New England, but Lewis should probably be picked up in all leagues. He’ll face the Chargers’ weak run defense in Week 8.

Dallas rides the running game in Week 8 win over the Redskins.
Dak Prescott was 14/22 for 143 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions in a 33-19 win. He also rushed three times for 16 yards. The Cowboys ran it 39 times on Sunday, so Prescott wasn’t asked to do too much in the victory. Dak remains a QB1 option when they take on the Chiefs back at home in Week 9. Fantasy owners could be in for a potential shootout.

Wendell Smallwood sees just two touches in Week 8 win.
Smallwood rushed once for five yards and caught a nine-yard pass. A popular sleeper against a team that Philadelphia predictably handled, Smallwood took a backseat to Corey Clement behind LeGarrette Blount on Sunday. The second-year back doesn’t need to be owned in a crowded running back group, especially with a matchup against the Broncos up next.

Jalen Richard gets ten touches in Raiders’ loss.
With no Marshawn Lynch, it was a running back by committee approach for Oakland, and that included a touchdown at the goal line for fullback Jamize Olawale. Richard had five carries for 21 yards and added five receptions on 35 yards. DeAndre Washington (14 touches, touchdown) received a little more work, but the playing time appeared to be split pretty evenly—and they both lost fumbles in the game. They’ll both mix in with Lynch moving forward.

Jordan Reed scores twice against the Eagles on Monday night.
Reed started the game slow and again didn’t look like himself, but he got going late in the game with the Redskins down and trying to stage a great comeback. Reed was targeted ten times in the game, grabbing eight passes for 64 yards and two touchdowns—one in the third and one in the fourth. These were Reed’s first touchdowns of the season, so it’s good to see him break out on the stat sheet after having under 150 yards entering the game. Reed gets Dallas in Week 8.

Brandon Tate makes big play in Bills’ win.
Tate caught a pass over the middle and put a great move on a defender before taking it for a 24 yard gain and a first down. Right after the play in which he was tackled by the sideline, the whole team pretty much went jumped up and went over to congratulate him on a great play—which was awesome and unique to see. Tate isn’t a fantasy option right now, but it’s good to see him step up and make plays for his team like that—and it’s good to see his teammates appreciate it.
