Gallman carried five times for 15 yards and caught two of three targets for 14 yards in a loss to Seattle. Starter Orleans Darkwa couldn’t do much in the game either, and they’ll both look to find more running room against the Rams in Week 9.

Mike Gillislee gets 11 carries against the Chargers.
Dion Lewis (15 carries) appears to be working as the lead runner in New England’s backfield, but Gillislee is still getting some work—especially later in games. On his 11 carries, Gillislee picked 34 yards in the Patriots’ victory. After his three-touchdown performance in Week 1, it looked like Gillislee would be a great RB1, but it hasn’t worked out that way since. Through half the season, he’s on pace for 196 carries, 710 yards, and eight touchdowns in his first year with New England.

Austin Hooper held to one reception in Week 7 loss.
It went for six yards. Hooper isn’t a fantasy option with the Falcons offense struggling. They’ll try to turn things around against the Jets next Sunday.
10/23/17 - 04:14 PM ET
Nick O’Leary held to one reception in Week 8 win.
It went for five yards. O’Leary was in a good spot against the Raiders, but Buffalo rode the running game and defense in a 34-14 victory. The second-year tight end remains a streaming option against the Jets on Thursday night.
10/30/17 - 01:18 PM ET
Travis Benjamin beats Denver again in Week 7 win.
Benjamin caught a 42-yard touchdown and returned a punt return 65 yards for a score in a 21-0 victory. He also rushed once for four yards. The speedster has scored all three of his touchdowns this season against the Broncos, and he will continue to operate as the big-play threat against the Patriots next week. He’s just a risky FLEX option.
10/23/17 - 03:36 PM ET
DeAndre Washington scores in Week 8.
In relief of the suspended Marshawn Lynch, Washington and Jalen Richard handled most of the touches out of the backfield. Washington carried six times for 26 yards (which both led the team) and added eight receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown, with the score coming late in the game with Oakland down big. The second-year back did also lose a fumble in the game, and he fullback Jamize Olawale scored a short touchdown by the goal line. With Lynch set to return in Week 9, it’ll probably be a committee approach in the backfield.
10/30/17 - 12:48 PM ET
Dion Lewis works as lead runner for the Patriots again.
Lewis appears to remain ahead of Mike Gillislee as the leading ball-carrier for New England, as he carried 15 times for 44 yards while also adding two receptions for ten yards in a win over the Chargers. Lewis also continues to return kicks, and he broke one for 71 yards that nearly went all the way. Lewis has had 11, 13, and 15 carries in his last three games, and he’s averaging 4.7 yards per carry this season. New England’s next game is in Week 10 against the Broncos, and Lewis has had some success as a runner against them in the past.
