Keenan Allen | Bears WR

Keenan Allen caught three passes for 41 yards in Sunday’s win over the Broncos.

Allen was able to get the better of Chris Harris on a handful of occasions, but Los Angeles didn’t have to push things offensively with Denver putting zero points on the board. The Patriots will have a difficult time containing Allen next Sunday; he’s a low-end WR1 option in standard leagues.

Lee Smith | Falcons TE

Lee Smith catches one pass against the Bills.

Smith made a very nice 21-yard catch on an post-type of route that he caught to set Oakland up at the one-yard line. He’s a contributor for the Raiders, but Smith is not a recommended fantasy option.

J.D. McKissic | Free Agent RB

J.D. McKissic gets five touches against the Giants.

McKissic carried three times for ten yards and had two receptions (on two targets) for 23 yards. Before he even got a touch, C.J. Prosise left the game with an ankle injury again, so it looks like MsKissic will have a nice role on passing downs until Prosise returns—which probably won’t be in Week 8. Still, McKissic isn’t a reliable fantasy option, as he will have games where he’s not very involved.

James White | Retired RB

James White leads the Patriots in Week 8 receiving.

White, as usual, was a great target for Tom Brady and the Patriots, catching five of six passes for 85 yards in the victory over the Chargers. He also added one carry for two yards in the game. Through eight games, White is on pace for 56 carries, 240 rushing yards, 86 receptions, 730 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns. White is a solid FLEX option in standard leagues, but his receiving pace makes him an excellent RB2 in PPR.

Stefon Diggs | Patriots WR

Stefon Diggs (groin) is active this morning.

After injuring his groin in Week 5 against the Bears and missing two games while dealing with his groin injury, Diggs is back for the Vikings. He was a full participant in practice on Thursday and Friday, but there still is some slight risk for him this week while considering that there’s a chance he could be a bit of a decoy and that Cleveland—though down half their secondary for this game—has been good against opposing wide receivers this season. Diggs does offer a lot of upside and is a recommended play this week, but perhaps expectations should be tempered after his scorching start to the season before getting injured.

10/29/17 - 08:05 AM ET

Gavin Escobar | Free Agent TE

The Ravens signed tight end Gavin Escobar.

Escobar is a former second-round pick of the Cowboys and was last with the Chiefs. He’s a big target that’ll fill in behind Benjamin Watson and Nick Boyle, as it appears the team might be unhappy with Maxx Williams.

10/23/17 - 04:47 PM ET

Marqise Lee | Free Agent WR

Marqise Lee (knee) missed second straight practice.

There’s still time for Lee to get ready for Sunday, but he’s looking very iffy right now. We’ll see if he practices tomorrow and if he’s listed as questionable, doubtful, or off the official injury report for the game.
