Join now >Browns receivers to be placed on reserve/COVID-19 list.
[UPDATE: Every Browns receiver aside from Marvin Hall has been deemed a close contact.] Jarvis Landry, Rasheed Higgins, and Donovan Peoples-Jones have all been deemed high-risk close contacts, according to ESPN. This puts Cleveland in a very difficult spot heading into tomorrow’s game against the Jets, with their top three wide receivers out. Expect a heavy dose of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt in Week 16.

Chase Edmonds (hip) is questionable to return for the Cardinals.
Edmonds is headed to the locker room, which probably isn’t a great sign. We’ll see if there’s an update on Edmonds to start the second half.

The Broncos placed Phillip Lindsay (hip/knee) on injured reserve.
After going over 1,000 rushing yards in each of his first two NFL seasons, Lindsay split the backfield work with offseason addition Melvin Gordon and battled injuries throughout 2020. Lindsay’s season ends with 118 carries for 502 yards and a touchdown along with seven receptions for 28 yards in 11 games. The former undrafted player will be a restricted free agent this offseason.

Jordan Thomas has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
This doesn’t appear to be an issue where it will affect the Patriots’ Monday night’s game against the Bills, but hopefully Thomas is OK and can come off the COVID list soon.

The Jets activated La’Mical Perine (ankle) off injured reserve.
Perine has been out for just over a month, but it’s good to see him back for the final two games of the season. The rookie runner will look to build some momentum heading into the offseason after showing flashes throughout his first NFL season.

James Robinson (ankle) will not play in Week 16, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
There was some expectation that Robinson would push through this ankle issue, but it’s not a surprise the team is playing it safe. The undrafted rookie runner appears to have a very bright future, so the Jags are making the smart move resting him tomorrow.
12/26/20 - 03:38 PM ET
Matthew Stafford (foot) has been ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Stafford isn’t going to return with Detroit down 34-0 at halftime. Considering how banged up Detroit’s quarterback has been this month, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he doesn’t end up playing in Week 17.
