The Chiefs have the postseason to look ahead to, so they may ultimately hold out Hill if they don’t feel he’s close enough to 100% on Sunday.

Phillip Lindsay (knee/hip) ruled out for Week 16.
Royce Freeman will get extended work behind Melvin Gordon this week, but the starter should see the main boost and is a high-upside RB2. Lindsay will try to be healthy enough for Week 17 versus Las Vegas.

The Saints have claimed Jake Kumerow, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Kumerow was expected to stay in Buffalo by re-joining the practice squad, but that won’t be the case after New Orleans was awarded him off waivers. A quick role wouldn’t be a surprise in Week 17 with the receiving corps extremely banged up.

Daniel Jones (hamstring/ankle) is questionable for Week 16.
Jones is expected to play this weekend, but his status likely won’t be known until Sunday. Ideally, fantasy owners will have a better option for championship week since Jones has a difficult matchup versus the Ravens.

Golden Tate (calf) ruled out for Week 16.
The Giants will be without their No. 3 receiver, but he wouldn’t have been a highly recommended fantasy option versus Baltimore.

Antonio Gibson (toe) is officially listed as questionable for Week 16.
Gibson is looking like a game-time decision for Sunday against the Panthers, but there’s optimism about his status after his practice activity was ramped up during the week. Washington doesn’t kickoff until the late-afternoon window on Sunday, so be sure to have a backup plan if you want to use the rookie runner with fantasy titles on the line.

Alex Smith (calf) is questionable for Week 16.
It sounds like Smith will be able to suit up after getting in a full practice on Friday, but how he responds over the next day or so could determine his status. With top receiver Terry McLaurin (ankle) listed as doubtful, Smith’s ceiling would take a definite hit as a low-end QB2.
