Join now >Ronald Jones II has been ruled out for Week 16.
Jones II is dealing with a finger injury in addition to being on the reserve/COVID-19 list, so Leonard Fournette will draw another start on Saturday. Consider him an upside RB2 play thanks to his touchdown potential in Tampa Bay’s offense.

The Lions released Jonathan Williams.
Williams might land back with Detroit on the practice squad, but he’s off the fantasy radar with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
12/24/20 - 11:40 AM ET
Derek Carr (groin) practiced fully today.
Carr indicated he was going to push as hard as he can to play this Saturday, and a full practice today means he’s on track to be available for the Raiders. Frankly, Carr likely saw the way Marcus Mariota played last Thursday and doesn’t want to miss any more time to potentially give up his grip on the starting quarterback job entering the offseason. Assuming Carr gets the nod and OK from Jon Gruden for Week 16, it’ll be a difficult matchup against the Dolphins.
12/23/20 - 05:13 PM ET
The Jets placed Ryan Griffin on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
The Jets haven’t gotten a ton of receiving production from their tight ends this season, so this doesn’t have an impact from a fantasy perspective. But we hope Griffin is feeling better soon if he did contract the virus as opposed to being a high-risk close contact.
12/23/20 - 05:02 PM ET
The Dolphins activated Myles Gaskin from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Gaskin missed the past two games while on the COVID list, but he’ll be back for this Saturday against the Raiders. The Dolphins backfield is interesting, with Salvon Ahmed racking up 122 rushing yards on 23 carries last week, but Gaskin has been the lead back when he’s been on the field this season.
12/23/20 - 04:52 PM ET
Christian McCaffrey (quad) is doubtful for Week 16.
McCaffrey won’t take on Washington this Sunday, and we would guess there is a very high chance he doesn’t play in Week 17, either. Mike Davis will start, but he’s more of a low-end RB2 with the team also giving work to Rodney Smith as a younger option in the backfield.
12/23/20 - 02:45 PM ET
Trent Taylor has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Taylor will be out for this week, but he hasn’t been given offensive snaps since Week 10, so this will have a bigger impact on special teams. The 49ers will again run things through Brandon Aiyuk this weekend, especially if George Kittle (foot) isn’t back.
