The team did not announce the type of injury Patton, who just signed with the team in March, sustained.

Broncos head coach Vance Joseph said the team is targetting a training camp return for Jamaal Charles.
Charles is still working his way back to full health, and will focus on rehab through OTAs according to the head coach. If he can get healthy, Charles will be a difference-maker in the Denver backfield, though he will likely be the lesser of a committee with C.J. Anderson to start the season. Still, he has the ability to make an impact with just a few touches, and is well worth a mid-to-late round pick in fantasy drafts.

Free agent running back Chris Johnson said he wants to continue playing.
Johnson was on SiriusXM NFL and said a few teams are interested, including the Cardinals. Johnson was with the Cardinals for the past two seasons, but he only played in four games last season because of his groin injury that sent him to IR. Johnson did admit that hitting 10,000 rushing yards is a motivating factor (he's currently at 9,537 yards). Johnson is only 31-years-old and can definitely contribute to a team. He should sign with someone at some point before the season.

Ezekiel Elliott is expected to participate in Cowboys OTAs next Tuesday.
Head coach Jason Garrett said Elliott suffered from some body and neck stiffness from the car accident he was in Thursday. It could be worse, so good thing Elliott doesn't seem like he'll be affected by this much longer.

Mike Garafolo says the Maclin situation will "clarify itself" today.
Garafolo says that because Maclin was cut so late on Friday, he wasn't officially on the wire until today. Garafolo also expects four or five teams to be "serious contenders" for Maclin, and that "the Bills' draw will be tempting for him." Other teams that may have serious interest are the Ravens, 49ers, Cowboys, and Eagles, among others. It would seem likely Maclin will sign sometime this week, if not next.

Aaron Leming says it's "very evident" Mike Glennon isn't happy about the quarterback situation moving forward.
This should come as a a shock to no one. Glennon signed with the Bears thinking he would have a chance to be the long-term quarterback, but there is almost no chance that happens after the team took Mitchell Trubisky with the second overall pick. Glennon is going to have to play like a top tier quarterback to keep the starting job long-term. Glennon did say this is his team for 2017. For this season, he probably won't be a QB1, but could deliver as a QB2 in fantasy.

Matt Ryan says there really isn't a change in the offense from last season.
Last year's offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan is now the head coach of the 49ers. Steve Sarkisian is the new OC, but they're using "pretty much" the same offense as before. Sarkisian is the one that needs to learn the system and terminology, not the players. Obviously, the Falcons have an offense that works, and it's smart to keep the system in place, despite the change in coordinators. The team scored 540 points last season, the eighth highest total in NFL history. While they might not hit that mark again, the offense is tough so stop and should be among the NFL's elite.
