Second-year back Kenneth Dixon is suspended for four games, leaving West as the clear starter to open the season. The Ravens added Greg Roman as a senior offensive assistant to help improve the running game. Roman was the OC for the Niners from 2011-2014 (with Jim Harbaugh, John's brother), and was the OC for the Bills in 2015 when they led the league in rushing. West says the addition of Roman will help make this year "great for running backs." Danny Woodhead is also in the backfield, mainly as a passing down back, but West will have a chance to secure the early-down role while Kenneth Dixon is out for the first four games. The Ravens have made it clear they want to run the ball more this season.

Doug Martin is working as the Buccaneers' first team running back in most drills for the start of OTAs.
Martin still has to serve three games of his four-game suspension, but he'll likely be the Buccaneers' lead back when he's on the field. Martin also reportedly looks slimmed down and quick. He seems to have found himself, and he should be a big contributor to the Buccaneers this season. Fantasy owners (and the Bucs) will be without Martin for the first three games, however.

Bruce Arians says Carson Palmer looks "fantastic" after waiting until the end of OTAs to throw.
The Cardinals head coach said of his 37-year-old quarterback, "It's like he's 20." Palmer and the Cardinals are coming off a dissapointing 2016 season, but the veteran passer still threw for over 4,200 yards and 26 touchdowns with no big-time threats on the perimeter because of all the issues John Brown and Michael Floyd had. Arizona is expected to give Palmer plenty of rest through training camp and into the regular season, which should keep him fresh on Sundays. Just two years ago, Arians helped his quarterback turn into a legitimate MVP candidate with 4,671 yards and a 35:11 touchdown-interception ratio, and it wouldn't be surprising at all if he approached those numbers and again was a solid QB1 in 2017. Palmer will be one of the better late-round fantasy quarterback options this summer, especially with a very friendly schedule early in the season.

Adam Schefter reports nothing is "imminent" with a quarterback signing for Seattle.
Schefter says a move is not expected today and that it's a "standard visit." The Seahawks are the best (and maybe only) possibility for Kaepernick, but it's no lock to happen.

Panthers head coach Ron Rivera says Cam Newton might throw at the team's minicamp next week.
It will likely be throwing on the side. Newton underwent shoulder surgery at the end of March, so his throwing would be a good sign of no setbacks. Newton is expected to be 100% and practice with the team for the beginning of training camp. Newton is looking to bounce back this season after he took a step back from his MVP 2015 season.

Eric Decker is participating in Jets' OTAs.
Decker's season was cut short last season due to shoulder and hip injuries, but he looks good for OTAs. He's in a red non-contact jersey to make sure no one unnecessarily bumps him. A video in the link below shows that he doesn't appear to be limited and is showing good burst. Decker could get a lot of targets for the Jets this season.

Drew Brees says "he could not be more impressed" with Ted Ginn.
Ginn is reportedly making a ton of plays in OTAs and really impressing the team. Sean Payton notably said how happy he was getting Ginn away from the Panthers when they signed him in free agency. The team clearly plans to utilize Ginn, perhaps even in the role Brandin Cooks played over his three seasons with New Orleans. Ginn has major upside late in fantasy drafts.
