Freeman has a shot to return this Sunday against Washington, and we’ll let you know how he’s listed on the final Week 9 injury report when it’s out tomorrow.
11/5/20 - 02:39 PM ET
Matt Breida (hamstring) officially did not practice today.
As Dolphins head coach Brian Flores indicated earlier today, it was not a case of Breida getting a rest type of day to start the practice week yesterday. Breida looks to be on the doubtful side of things for Week 9, but Flores says he has a chance to play. The final injury report of the week will be out tomorrow.
11/5/20 - 02:19 PM ET
Sony Michel (quad) has returned to practice.
This activates Michel’s 21-day practice window to either be taken off injured reserve or spend the year there. Michel’s quad injury was thought to be minor in nature, so it’s possible he’s able to return to the lineup this Monday night against the Jets if he’s activated to the 53-man roster over the weekend.
11/5/20 - 12:53 PM ET
The Bills activated Dawson Knox from the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Knox has gotten rid of the virus and can now rejoin his teammates ahead of this Sunday’s Week 9 game against the Seahawks, assuming he’s also healed up from the calf injury that had previously forced him to miss time.
11/5/20 - 12:50 PM ET
The Dolphins are placing Myles Gaskin (knee) on IR.
This was expected, and Gaskin will now officially miss at least the next three games for Miami. Look for Matt Breida to lead the backfield with Jordan Howard potentially being used as a short-yardage option after falling out of the rotation in recent weeks. The recently acquired DeAndre Washington will also have a role when he can play.
11/5/20 - 08:48 AM ET
Brandon Aiyuk has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Aiyuk is yet another loss for San Francisco this week, and it will pretty much be the JaMycal Hasty show for them on Thursday night. The rookie wideout will hopefully be cleared by next week, but it’s tough to trust any of the wideouts for San Francisco right now.
11/4/20 - 09:54 PM ET
Michael Thomas (ankle/hamstring) was officially limited in practice.
Thomas was also able to practice on a limited basis last week, so it’s difficult to feel too great about his Week 9 status given how this season has gone for him. We’ll track Thomas’ practice status the next couple of days.
