Washington is signing Trevor Davis to the practice squad, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Davis brings 4.3 speed on the table that Washington might be interested in using on offense, but his main contributions—if called up to the active roster—would likely come on special teams as a returner.

John Brown (knee) was officially a full participant in today’s practice.

We would think Brown will be good to go for Sunday against the Patriots, but we’ll let you know if he has a setback or is listed on the final Week 8 injury report when it’s released ahead of the weekend.

The Colts activated Michael Pittman Jr.’s 21-day practice window.

Pittman has been out since he suffered his scary leg injury in Week 3, and it sounds like he should be back on the active roster soon. Pittman has 21 days to be added to the 53-man roster or revert back to injured reserve for the remainder of the season. The Colts appear to be getting healthier following their bye week.

Jordan Reed (knee) has been designated to return off injured reserve.

Reed now has a 21-day window in which he is allowed to practice before he must either be activated from injured reserve or spend the rest of the year there. The veteran tight tend should be back soon, but keep in mind the Niners have a quick turnaround with a Thursday night game after this Sunday’s matchup with the Seahawks.

The 49ers opened the 21-day practice window for Tevin Coleman (knee).

Coleman is expected to have a shot to return to the lineup this Sunday against the Seahawks, but he should be set to return in Week 9 (next Thursday night) at the latest. The Niners will not share Coleman’s official practice status until he’s officially activated to the 53-man roster, which does not need to happen until the weekend. But we expect the dynamic runner will be back for San Francisco this week.

Allen Robinson is officially in concussion protocol.

Robinson was taken out of the game and looked at late on Monday night against the Rams, and he is unfortunately in concussion protocol and has a relatively shorter turnaround to get cleared for Sunday versus the Saints. A-Rob appeared to be pretty vocal with Rams players and/or the officials after he took the hit last week, and hopefully he’s feeling better and back to 100% soon.

The Eagles have designated Dallas Goedert (ankle) to return from IR.

Reports have suggested Goedert will be out until Week 10, but it will be interesting to see if the timeline is perhaps accelerated if he practices this week ahead of Philadelphia’s primetime matchup against the Cowboys. That said, the Eagles have a bye in Week 9, so there is probably more of a chance that fantasy owners will be without Goedert for a couple of more weeks. He should be picked up in all formats if available.
