Join now >Chris Carson (foot) is week-to-week, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The MRI confirmed that Carson has a mid-foot sprain, which can be a tricky injury for players. Carlos Hyde should work as the lead back for however long the starter is out, but Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas should also be involved. Now could be a good time to buy low on Carson for those who feel good about their playoff prospects.

The Panthers have released Seth Roberts.
The veteran has caught just four passes this year, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him quickly land on someone’s active roster. That said, Roberts isn’t currently on the fantasy radar.

Virgil Green (ankle) will miss several weeks, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Green is dealing with a lateral ankle sprain, but the X-Rays came back negative, which is a great sign considering how badly the ankle turned on his touchdown catch yesterday. Donald Parham should see more snaps behind Hunter Henry until the veteran returns.

Christian McCaffrey is considered a “long-shot” to play on Thursday night.
The hope for fantasy owners was that McCaffrey would be able to return for this Thursday’s matchup against the Falcons to kickoff Week 8, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says he’s considered a long-shot to play. However, Rapoport adds that McCaffrey is “pushing to play”, so we’ll see what happens. With a light week of practice, there might not be any clarity on McCaffrey’s status until Thursday. Also, Carolina has yet to activate the 21-day practice window for their star running back.

The Eagles activated the practice window for Jalen Reagor (hand).
Reagor now has 21 days to practice before he must be activated to the 53-man roster or remain on IR for the season. Reagor should be able to get back onto the field relatively quickly, and he should already be in fine shape because of the nature of his injury.

Odell Beckham Jr. is out for the year with a torn ACL.
Beckham texted reporter Josina Anderson the news. This was the fear after Beckham left yesterday’s game with a knee injury, and it ends another disappointing season for the star receiver. Beckham started his career on fire with over 1,300 yards and double-digit touchdowns in each of his first three seasons, but he’s since struggled with injuries and consistency and has not topped 1,100 yards since 2016. Beckham’s 2020 season ends with 23 receptions for 319 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns along with three carries for 72 yards. OBJ will turn 28 in a couple of weeks.
