The Saints waived Lil’Jordan Humphrey.

New Orleans is going in another direction at receiver for now, promoting Krishawn Hogan to the active roster. Expect Humphrey to land back with the Saints on the practice squad soon.

Benny Snell (knee) is officially questionable to return to tonight’s game.

It’s unclear when Snell was injured, but hopefully it’s not anything too serious and he can return soon. The rookie running back has been mixing in behind James Conner against the Dolphins.

Ryan Izzo (concussion) will not play this week.

Izzo has made some chunk plays this season, but Sunday will be his third missed game in a row. Benjamin Watson will continue leading the position for New England.

The Ravens signed Willie Snead to a contract extension.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter says it’s a one-year extension worth $6 million fully guaranteed. Snead was set to become a free agent this offseason, but Baltimore locked him up for next season, rewarding a player that presumably has done everything they’ve asked in a run-heavy offense. Snead doesn’t get a ton of passes thrown his way, but he’s a key target for Lamar Jackson.

The 49ers released Jordan Matthews.

Matthews has suited up one game for the Niners during his time with the team this season. Perhaps he’ll return at some point, but he’s not a must-hold in dynasty leagues at the moment.

Jaylen Samuels (knee) is officially inactive for Monday night.

Samuels was a full participant in practice all week leading up to tonight, but the Steelers are playing it safe with the versatile second-year running back. Benny Snell will handle most of the backfield work when James Conner is out of the game against the Dolphins. Samuels should be back for Week 9.

Rex Burkhead (foot) remains limited in practice.

Burkhead has been limited in practice because of his foot issue the past few weeks, but he has not played in a game. We’ll update you if anything changes, but expect him to remain limited tomorrow and Friday.
