Join now >David Njoku (concussion) has been ruled out for the rest of tonight’s game.
This isn’t surprising after Njoku was flipped and landed awkwardly on his head/neck after going up for a high pass early in the game against the Jets. Njoku did not have any catches before leaving. Hopefully he’s feeling better soon and can get cleared for this Sunday night versus the Rams.

The Colts have released Spencer Ware from IR, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Ware will be free to sign with any team next week, so he’s certainly a name to monitor in redraft leagues depending on the landing spot. He could also wait to see if someone gets injured before making a decision.

David Njoku is expected to be out for more than a month, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport says Njoku is “seeking additional opinions to see if he needs surgery, but he’s out for more than a month if the initial estimates hold up.” So while Njoku’s status appears unclear at this point, Rapoport saying he has a broken wrist—in which case it’s difficult to see him not missing at least a few games. More information on the athletic tight end’s status should be available in the next 24 hours.

Cody Latimer (concussion) officially did not practice today.
Latimer suffered a concussion last Sunday, and he’ll need to get through concussion protocol to play versus the Buccaneers in Week 3. Hopefully Latimer is feeling better and can at least practice on a limited basis tomorrow.

David Njoku is officially being evaluated for a concussion.
Njoku landed on his head and had his neck twist pretty badly, and he’s now officially being called questionable to return. We’ll update you as more information becomes available on the third-year tight end’s status.

Cam Newton (foot) has officially been ruled out for Week 3.
Newton hasn’t been at practice this week, so him missing Sunday against the Cardinals has been the expectation. Second-year quarterback Kyle Allen will now start at quarterback against former Texas A&M teammate Kyler Murray, and he’s not a huge downgrade for Carolina’s skill position player with the way Newton played through two weeks. Consider Newton week-to-week as he looks to get to 100% and back to his usual self this season.

David Njoku may need wrist surgery, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Njoku is getting secondary opinions to see if surgery is necessary, so fantasy owners should prepare to potentially have him out for an extended period of time. Demetrius Harris would be the next man up for Cleveland, but hopefully Njoku gets good news and can avoid surgery.
